Very clean, comfortable space in a safe, quiet residential neighbourhood. My room was cozy and spotless, the bed very comfortable, and the en suite bathroom with quite a lovely shower was a big plus. Steven, the host, was very attentive and helpful, and in addition to the accommodation he offered transportation to and from the airport (for an extra fee). The only drawback is that it isn’t very close to any stores or amenities. However, a 15-20 minute walk takes you to a very nice shopping plaza with SaveOn Foods grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, and some good restaurants, some featuring Richmond’s legendary Chinese cuisine. The stop for the 408 bus is also close by, which will take you to the Richmond-Brighouse train station, very handy hub for getting to downtown Vancouver or out to the airport. The biggest plus of the location is its proximity to the airport, which makes it a great choice if you’re in transit. It’s also very well-priced compared to much of the accommodation in Greater Vancouver. Just be aware of the small extra cleaning fee to be paid directly to the owners at the end of the stay; it was mentioned on the receipt from Expedia, but I missed seeing that initially.
Overall, if you are looking for safe, quiet, clean, comfortable accommodation close to the airport at a very reasonable rate, I would highly recommend this place!
