This is a MOTEL not a hotel. 1970's decor throughout. While clean and is well located- everything is exceptionally tired and dated.

Surestay is accessible to transportation, just a few minute walk to Capilano Suspension Bridge, there's a covenience store beside it, so easy to go to Downtown and Waterfront. Nice Staff, especially Roland. Amazing pillows and bed.

Noisy with a lot of young guys in the rooms around us. They would be smoking dope outside the hotel door every time we came back to our room. No hotel staff to monitor this???

Walls are not soundproof and we were able to hear the crosswalk beep at the intersection from our room. The rooms also don’t have a microwave and you have to go to the lobby, but otherwise it was a nice place.

Even though I was is a very nice suite on the second floor, there was a child running above me until around 11 pm. Then, when I woke up at 7, it was the constant thudding sound again until I left at 9 am. When I looked up, outside the building, there was no 3rd floor, so, that means the walls are very thin. Take earplugs!
