French Getaway
Off the tourist track but with a few places for nice visits. In hot weather pool v good for children. Quirky property on outskirts of nice small town with all necessary shops. Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. We had very pleasant stay with primary age children.

Lovely house and location
Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, really big and the photos do not do it justice. Great size pool and loads of places to relax in and outside. BBQ a nice touch and we used it a lot. Local village has small shops and larger supermarkets are just 10-15 mins in the car. Seb was a great host and this is perfect if you want a relaxing time away in quiet surroundings with really good facilities and lovely pool. Don't think twice about booking here!

Varzy Paradise
We had such a great time staying in Varzy, quiet pretty little town with a market on Thursday for your fresh fruit and veg plus a boulangerie for the other essential croissants! The house was gorgeous with a lovely pool and outside eating area for barbecues and sunbathing. Sebastian, the owner was always nearby for advice on places to visit etc. We will return!!

Superb house in rural Burgundy!
We had the very best time staying at Sebastian’s in Varzy - the photos really don’t do it justice! Good location in a quiet village, there’s a decent selection of shops, a local restaurant and weekly market. We used this trip as our first family getaway in over 3 years so spent lots of time by the wonderful pool, covered deck and overlooking the very pretty garden. Good base to explore nearby Vezelay, Chablis, Clamency and Sancerre - we could have done more but the weather was great and the pool too inviting!! Sebastian was on hand if needed (particularly during a thunderstorm when we lost power which was quickly sorted out!) and was a discreet, knowledgable host. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a super relaxing stay in idyllic countryside!

The photos do not do justice to this property, It is beautifully kept and spotlessly clean, there is everything you would need to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The pool is wonderful on a hot day and the garden aspect is perfect to catch the last rays of a setting sun. Sebastian the host was fast and attentive when there was a problem but otherwise not intrusive. We spent many hours exploring the surrounding area where there are a lot of places to walk, the village is a lovely place to discover where there are numerous historical houses and things to find and ruins to ponder over ! The museum is well worth a visit, as is the very friendly village bar and restaurant, where the food is very good it is a must ! In all we had a fantastic three weeks in Varzy

Idéale pour un séjour en famille
Nous avons passé un agréable week-end dans cette charmante maison. Tout confort, spacieuse (pour circuler à 8), bien équipée et avec un hôte exceptionnement charmant et disponible. Nous avons eu un accueil chaleux et toutes les informations nécessaires relatives à l'hergement. On se sent aussi bien à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Seule l'unique salle de douche attenante à une chambre, demande un peu d'organisation pour toute la maisonnée. Un superbe week-end en famille que même la pluie n'a pas entachée ! :)

Viel Platz, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis
Das Haus ist prima geeignet für größere Familien.Es bietet viel Platz in allen Zimmern, der Garten ist riesig. Es gibt reichlich Geschirr und Küchenutensilien sowie einen hervorragenden Grill, wir haben jeden Tag ausgiebig gekocht oder gegrillt. Der Ort bietet leider nicht viel, Restaurant und Döner haben mittlerweile geschlossen, aber Supermarkt, Bäcker und Metzger sind sehr gut sortiert. Für Ausflüge ist ein Auto empfehlenswert. Leider liegen 2 Schlafzimmer an der Straße, wo es ab 6:00 morgens laut wird. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wunderschönes Haus im Burgund
Von außen ein eher unscheinbares Haus an der Hauptstraße des Dorfes. Du machst die Haustür auf ... und wow. Sehr sauber, groß und geräumig. In der Küche gibt es alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Spülmaschine, Pfannen und Geschirr, ... In der oberen Etage gibt es drei Schlafzimmer, die bei der Ankunft alle schon fertig waren und ein Bad. Auch die Außenanlage lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt einen schattigen Platz mit Lounge-Möbeln, es gibt Liegestühle, Sonnenschirme, eine sehr große Wiese und einen sehr schönen Pool. Alles super gepflegt. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt. Der Vermieter ist auch sehr, sehr nett. Wer Ruhe sucht, etwas abseits vom Trubel ist hier genau richtig. Bäckerei und Pizza-Service fußläufig erreichbar.

Het huis is prima. Biedt alles wat je nodig hebt. Helaas zat het weer wat tegen en hebben we het zwembad maar 1x gebruikt. In- / uitchecken ging erg makkelijk. Nu door de ouders van de eigenaar. Erg vriendelijk en heel enthousiast. Taal was beetje lastig, maar daar kwamen we goed uit. Is een prima week geweest.

Magnifique vacances
Nous avons passé trois semaines dans ce lieu accueillant et paisible. Notre hôte Sebastien a été très accueillant, disponible et discret et nous a recommandé des sites et restaurants excellents. La maison est grande et confortable. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec une très bonne literie ce qui est appréciable. Nous avons bien profité de l’extérieur avec sa grande piscine et le patio attenant, sous une arche ombragée servie d’une vigne grimpante. Nos trois chiens on particulièrement profité du grand environnement extérieur parfaitement clôturé. Idéal pour nos deux petits chiens et notre labrador. Boys ne pouvons que chaudement recommander cette location. Bots ne manquerons pas d’y revenir. Vive la Bourgogne.

Ruhige Lage, erholsames Grundstück, traumhafter Pool
Wer etwas abseits Ruhe sucht, wer viel Platz braucht, wer gerne einen Pool nutzt, ist hier richtig. In Varzy gibt es einen Supermarkt mit Tankstelle, eine Bäckerei, ein nettes Restaurant. Hier lässt es sich leben. Ein bisschen abseits liegt Varzy schon. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Auch gute Matratzen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Séjour fabuleux !
Nous avons passé un séjour extra. La maison est magnifique, agréable et très bien décorée. Le jardin et la piscine sont un vrai bonheur. Le village de Varzy est vraiment super, les gens, les commerces, les ballades… tout est agréable et donne qu’une envie… revenir. Mais surtout Sébastien est vraiment très gentil et arrangeant. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Mooi huis, mooie locatie en heerlijk rustig.
Alles klopte aan dit vakantiehuis, zwembad was top. Enkel hadden de bewoners hiervoor een vracht honden in het water laten zwemmen dus er zat nog veel haar e.d. In. Klein minpuntje, enkel airco op begane grond en niet op slaapkamer(s). Bij 38 graden overdag kun je beter buiten gaan slapen :)

Une maison très agréable avec toutes les commodités au coeur du village. Un jardin accueillant qui laisse la place à la détente et aux jeux. Belle piscine très agréable pour se rafraichir quand le thermomètre avoisine les 38 degrés. Commerces à proximité immédiate, très pratique pour le petit déjeuner du matin :) Un hôte accueillant et à l'écoute. Vraiment idéal pour visiter la région. Seul petit bémol les bruits de la route quand on dort la fenêtre ouverte.

Si vous aimez la nature, la verdure et les villages vrais de la France, Varzy est charmant. Un autre monde pour le citadin que je suis! que du bonheur. Le propriétaire est charmant, prévenant, et habite à qq kilomètres. Toute petite réserve pour ne pas écrire que c'était parfait: la petite route qui passe devant, ok la nuit car très peu de passage, dans la journée un peut plus. Avantages cependant = la maison est à 200 mètres du centre de Varzy et à 10 minutes à pieds de tout (pharmacie, bar, petit supermarché très bien achalandé. bref, allez-y, j'y retournera certainement.

Traumhaft zum Abschalten
Ein typisches, süßes französisches Häuschen. Wir haben sehr wohl gefühlt. Für uns alle (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder & 1 Hund) war es der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, also perfekt für Hunde. Der Pool ist ebenfalls komplett eingezäunt. Wir haben unsere Zeit hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Vive la France.
