The location was excellent with no pedestrian or vehicular traffic to contend with. The mooring is so close to both Gamla Stan and central stations being a great advantage. This meant public transport is very easy with ferry boat access also close by as well. I found that one could go and explore in the morning, return for a respite during lunch then head out again very refreshed later on.
