Albergo Bel Sito managed to accommodate a last-minute reservation, and I arrived having some mild trepidation about booking into a small hotel in Venice, sight unseen. Boy, did I luck out!!! The Bel Sito may be a three star, but the staff treated me (and each guest I encountered) like we were rock stars. There is no part of this boutique hotel that is not charming and very Venetian. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and I enjoyed it every morning. Loved having a spritz or glass of wine in the bar or at one of the outdoor tables facing Santa Maria del Giglio. My room, a single with canal view, was small but very well appointed with a compact ensuite bathroom that had everything you could possibly need/want. The bed was comfortable but could use fluffier pillows (my only minor inconvenience). My friend, who was in an apartment nearby, was made welcome every time she came to meet me. We both felt like the staff at the Bel Sito went above and beyond to make my stay in Venice comfortable and delightful.

A very nice boutique hotel in a really great location. 2 minute walk from boat drop off /pick up, close to many key spots in San Marco. Only issue was weak hot water pressure. I read this on other Italy hotel reviews so it must be common there.

This is a great centralized location close to all the main attractions. The hotel is surrounded by numerous stores and restaurants. Very walkable and easy to navigate . Coming from the US, the rooms are much smaller than we are accustomed to but it was clean and had the necessary amenities. The staff was personable and friendly! Although our stay was short we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The property is beautiful and gives the feel of Venice. It’s in a quaint square opposite a church and borders one of the canals. We could see gondolas passing by. Breakfast was good, staff really amazing and the room was clean, with a great ambience.

LOVELY staff who are extremely friendly, kind, and patient. Beautiful, old-fashioned decor everywhere (in a good way). Location is unbeatable: both convenient AND quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast. I especially loved the grilled vegetables. One tiny note: the bathroom floor was extremely slippery. May be worth putting in something grippy.

Amazing Venice experience at a GREAT price! The hotel and staff we're amazing! I would stay here again any time and would refer it to my closest friends. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but very clean and cozy. If you are looking for a giant suite for the kids, go to Disneyworld. If you are looking for a great experience and ambiance in Venice at a great price, stay here. Loved it!
