Bed Bug Infestation Ruined Our Stay We stayed at this hotel in Venice from October 15–19, 2024, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant due to a serious bedbug problem. On our last morning, we discovered the infestation and were left covered in hundreds of bites. This was not a minor issue—it caused significant physical discomfort and distress. What made matters worse was the hotel’s lack of accountability. Instead of addressing the issue with care or offering any apology, they dismissed us entirely and shifted responsibility to Expedia. There was no attempt by the hotel to resolve the problem or offer sympathy. This ordeal led to additional unexpected costs and overshadowed what should have been a memorable trip. While Expedia did help by securing a partial refund, it was a small consolation given the lasting impact of the experience. Until this hotel takes real action to address these issues, we strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

The area was very good. The main square is right outside the door. The staff was professional, but not very friendly. There is a Hard Rock Cafe right out front and can be noisy until close. The beds and pillows were not very comfortable. The room was clean. Bathroom was dated. Not the worse out there, but I would explore other options next time.

Location is amazing... One boat ride from the airport and at the centre of tourist attractions, 2 mins from St. Marks Square and one side overlooks the gondalier park on the canal. Very picturesque. Breakfast small selection but good quality. Decor is dated but forgivable. Room was a fair size and staff very helpful.

Too bad it was under renovation it would have been nice to have a bar on the premises. Dinner we had at san Marco at sister hotel restaurant was great. I wish the air conditioning had still been on. Staff was great and so helpful. Loved being on the canal and so close to San Marco square.

Amazing stay!
Amazing experience! The hotel upgraded us to a room with a canal view - of which was amazing and we were very grateful. Accommodating service at the front desk, exceptional customer service. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Perfect hotel for a young couple looking to stay close to San Marco.
