Very clean & comfortable room with housekeeping doing excellent work daily. The front desk staff was extremely kind & helpful, specifically Alessandro who truly went out of his way to share recommendations. He helped us with meal, local travel & sites to visits along with a daily “Italian word of the day” to help us in our adventures. He truly offered excellent customer service & was a true asset to the hotel stay. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALESSANDRO & rest of San Carlo staff for a wonderful week. We can’t wait to return.

Decent hotel. Quiet. A/C works great. Water preassure is strong. Only shampoo and liquid soap are available. Wish the rooms have tea maker. The breakfast mostly consist of pastures, which are fresh and delicious. Eggs, salami, cheese, butter, yogurt, hot tea and coffee are also served. Staff very friendly and helpful. Trolley and bus tickets are available to purchase at check-in counter.

Very nice people at desk. Amenities are null but good enough for just sleeping. Bathroom super small but if you are not too picky, this hotel serves well. We did have to walk up 2 flights of stairs with our bags since the lift was not working when we were there. This is an older building.

For the price per night, we were disappointed that the A/C didn’t work in one of our rooms, we were on the third floor but the elevator was out of operation, and we couldn’t connect to the WiFi (this was a problem because we wanted to download movies for our long flight home the next day). The positives were that the staff was friendly, we were only 12 minutes drive from the Marco Polo airport, and it was a three minute walk to the team/bus which took us into the heart of Venice for shopping and touring. Purchasing the public transportation pass at the hotel was totally worth it. If the hotel can update a few things and keep up the friendly service, it would be worth staying…
