Redecorated in '24 ideally located by a canal w/ private courtyard and Fast WIFI

Ca'Dolce is located very close to St Mark's square (10min walk) and all of Venice's landmarks, but in a neighborhood still spared by tourism where you can still find Venetians and numerous proximity stores. The flat has been renovated in 2017 and redecorated in 2024. It is made of a living space on the ground floor with living kitchen and sitting room with a corner sofa, a small and modern shower room, 2 double bedrooms: 1 on the ground floor with canal views and sporting either 2 single beds or a double bed, and a double bedroom on the first floor with views on a garden on one side and on our private courtyard on the other side, itself facing a typical Venetian canal. Ca' Dolce is ideally located close to Marco Polo airport (reachable in 15min by taxiboat or 40min by Alilaguna boat to Fdte Nove stop then 2 min walk) and Santa Lucia train station (in 15min via Vaporetto Line 1). Ca' Dolce benefits from very fast Internet thanks to fiber to the home WIFI, air conditioning, fully equipped and modern kitchen (Nespresso, induction, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer). We of course supply bedroom linen and towels. Come and enjoy the Venetian life!

A great place away from all the crowds
Our stay here was great. The apartment was the perfect size. The courtyard was great to sit out and talk with a bottle of wine. It was close to everything but far enough away to not be in the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions.

Perfect Apartment for a Family
Absolutely loved this apartment! I studied in Venice years ago and was familiar with how touristy and crowded a lot of areas can get. This property is nestled in the residential area with great access to restaurants and grocery stores and a stunning terrace that opens up to the canal. Our kids were still adjusting to jet lag while we were in Venice so we even called it early one night so they could sleep and got groceries and wine to sit on the terrace for dinner while they slept- was one of my favorite nights there just looking at the canal! Sebastien was a great host with perfect recommendations.

The property is exactly as described. Very comfy and very convenient. Seb and Rosanna were excellent to work with. Cannaregio is enough away from the touristy areas to be quiet and relaxing but still close enough that you can do everything you come to Venice to do!

The neighborhood was quaint and we loved staying amongst the locals. The beds and pillows were miserable. They were hard and there was nowhere in the apt that was comfortable . Our backs and necks hurt all of the time. . The couch was dirty and small. Rosanna was great and very helpful.

Quiet town house, well appointed
We had a delightful stay. Preparation was excellent with lots of useful information. The location was terrific. Not so far from S. Marco yet away from the maddening crowds. The beautifully upgraded space allowed us to make a couple meals to eat in the private canal side terrace which doubled for morning espresso and yogurt. We used the mini coop around the corner for supplies and left more than we used — felt like home.

Great location close to all amenities within a 10-15 minute walk. Took a water taxi right to the apartment from the train station and then to the airport. Host provided great recommendations for dinner shopping the bonus wa the local wine shop where you can get litre jugs of local wine for 3-4 euros.

Great place in a quiet but well-located area. Close to ACTV stn and grocery/restos etc. It was fun watching the morning and evening "rush hour" on our little canal, it felt like we were actually living in Venice the community, not the tourist fantasy. Beyond wandering the back calle the best thing we did was a Row Venice Chichetti tour-- fabulous experience! Thanks Seb and team!

Convenient and accessible
We had a very lovely stay. The communication was excellent. Seb was quick to answer all my questions. Once we got there Rosanna answered any questions immediately. She is there to help and is so friendly. I was relieved there were no stairs. Matteo’s water taxi dropped us off at the canal entrance and it was very easy. I highly suggest using Matteo’s company when needed. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. It was hot when we were there. The air conditioner was FABULOUS. Rosanna knew that the air conditioner was very important to us and had it on when we arrived. I can’t tell you how nice it was to be able to cool off. The courtyard was private and we were able to watch the boats and gondolas go by. It was also very nice to have a washing machine in the apartment. They also have plenty of drying racks to dry your clothes. The market is just a short stroll away to pick up what you may need. We did the Cannaregio food tour which I recommend. It was fun to meet people and go to places you might not know about. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home in Venice
We had a wonderful stay here. It was clean and perfectly appointed. Our kids (3 and 7) loved watching the boats pass in the canal. It was quiet and comfortable. An easy walk to the Grand Canal and all the hot spots, but just enough out of the tourist center to get a real taste of Venetian life. Coming home and escaping the crowds was such a relief, and Cannaregio is a great neighborhood with lots to see, eat, and drink. Seb was easy to communicate with and his suggestion were all spot on! One last perk- not to sound like a stereotypical American, but the AC was the best we experienced in all of Italy!

quiet place did the job
Pros- quiet and tucked away from the tourist crowds, kids loved watching the boats go by on small canal, kitchen was well equipped, communication with on site host was good, easy access to two different vaporetto options. Cons- a few items need repair: a nightlight was broken, porch light in front of apt was out, an unsightly blue garbage bag is fixed on back gate to canal that apparently can't be removed (we asked), washing machine for clothes but no soap for it was provided

What a perfect location...
My family and I stayed at the Venice Ca' Dolce property for four nights in June and had a fantastic experience venturing out from the house all over the Cannaregio area and surrounding regions. The property was just about right for four people - two adults & two teenagers. The water taxi back to the airport came to meet us right outside the courtyard on the canal, it couldn't have been easier!

This place was a short walk from both the first Venice stop on the airport boat as well as Rialto Bridge. Super convenient with lots of great food options nearby. The patio and canal with all the local boat traffic was the view from the kitchen (which was very cool). The kitchen was well stocked. very cute cosy property with everything you needed for a short 5 day break. Comfortable clean and well stocked with cooking eqpt and laundry provisions. Mosquitos ! we understand next to the canal this would be tricky, but it was a shame as the lovely terrace was not that hospitable due to the bites! The house itself had great A/C and nets for the windows - so just take care and keep doors close. the recommendations form the owners were great and the facilities and locale are charming and really well provisioned. LOVED it ! Thanks so much, we will be back !
