Lakeview Escape at Tenkiller is your home away from home. Escape the busyness of life with a great view of Lake Tenkiller from inside looking through the two-story floor-to-ceiling windows or from outside on the 500+ square foot upper deck. This large, serene, log cabin boasts all the comforts of home and more from a fully equipped modern kitchen, a gas grill on the patio, a full-size ping-pong table in the screened-in breezeway and a large wood-burning fireplace in the 2-story vaulted living room.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the large deck overlooking the lake, always keeping an eye out for the deer and other wildlife that like to frequent the 2-acre wooded property.

Once the lazy day gets going, you can enjoy lounging around the house or deck, play one of the several games or work a puzzle we've provided, or just catch some rays. Spend the afternoon at the beach a few minutes away or at Tenkiller State Park which offers a great swimming pool, playground and hiking trails. You are also only 5-minutes to a boat ramp if you bring your boat with you. Other options are to enjoy the waterfowl and wildlife viewing at Sequoya National Wildlife Refuge. or you can enjoy a drive to Tahlequah for a canoe adventure down the Illinois River.

Enjoy your evening with a home-made meal on the back deck, once again overlooking the lake and watching for wildlife or try out one of the many unique restaurants this area has to offer.

Then, gather the family around the fire pit for some smores or to just watch the fire and reminisce about your day.

After a full day of fun or relaxation, escape back to the cabin for a wonderful night of sleep in one of the many cozy beds in this large, family friendly, log cabin.

Some of the features of this cabin are:
- 4 bedroom, 3 bath cabin which sleeps up to 14 people (no more than 11 adults)
- 3 of the bedrooms have king-size beds, the upstairs bedroom has three bunkbeds.
- Great view of beautiful Lake Tenkiller can be enjoyed while lounging on the deck, sitting by the outdoor firepit making smores or inside warming by the fireplace. We provide the marshmallow sticks you need for the smores!
- Large patio with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and a coffee table fire pit as well as an outdoor heater and large umbrella.
- Baby friendly with crib, highchair, baby monitors and safety gates everywhere!
- For your entertainment at the cabin, we have internet, four smart TVs with Direct TV, horseshoes, corn hole, several games/puzzles and a ping pong table in the breezeway as well as several toys for your little ones.
- Late October, we enclose the breezeway and set up heaters so you can still enjoy the room.
- Cabin is fully furnished with linens, towels, and a fully equipped kitchen. All you need to bring is your food, drinks, clothes and favorite toiletries.
- Another bonus is that the cabin is beautifully decorated at Christmas!

Spring Break

I take my kids and grandkids on Spring Break every year. This property is at the top of our list of places we've visited. The view from the rear deck and living room is absolutely incredible. The home was fully stocked, beds were all comfortable, and living room cozy. I highly recommend this property and we will most definitely be coming back.

We Were Greeted by a Bald Eagle off the Deck

From abundant nature to the terrific kitchen to the friendly, accommodating host—Lakeview Escape has it covered! Very clean and thoughtfully arranged and decorated. Our three families within a family (ages 5-75) found much to enjoy.

Great Family Getaway

We stayed here for three nights with my wife, parents, and four teenagers as a post-Christmas getaway. We had a blast, and the cabin was everything as advertised. The view of the lake is excellent with a porch that allows you to take it all in. Great amenities and rooms. Really, this place has everything you need for a good time with family/friends. Games, movies, chatting by the fire. You will not go wrong here.Communication with owners was easy, and the place was very clean with all the kitchen items you would need to cook.The only downside we could find is unrelated to the cabin really. We wanted a decent meal out, and the town is at least a 20 minute drive, and Gore did not have much to offer. Maybe we just missed it, or being in late December maybe our options were limited. But if you are wanting to get away from everything, this hits the mark!

The best stay!!

We really really enjoyed our stay. We appreciated all of the kid and baby accommodations. All of those things made our stay and our kids stay so much more enjoyable!! This property is one of our all-time favorites. It feels like home. There is nothing lacking for a fun family weekend. We enjoyed a family ping pong tournament to pass a little rainy time. The property was great and communication was good before and during our stay. There were storms that knocked out power for several days and while we tried to tough it out, when we finally decided to leave early Carma was great about arranging a fair partial refund. Would absolutely stay again.

Great family stay!

We loved this home! Location was great. The house was stocked with all the little odds and ends that you need! We had several children in our group and there were lots of toys and activities for them. Baby gates everywhere! It felt very safe for my 1 year old. The owner is VERY helpful and quick to respond. We loved our time spent her!

A three year (and counting) tradition

This was the third consecutive year that our group of nine best friends from high school gathered at Russ and Carma's beautiful home to celebrate our friendship. My group of nine friends dates our friendship back to Jr. high and hi school. We were looking for a place at the lake where we could spend time together and that placed a premium on multiple out door seating areas that could accommodate our group and provide for the amenities we have grown to expect. Russ and Carma's home has become that place for us. The property is specious and beautiful. Russ and Carma have proven themseves to be wonderful hosts. Each year we have stayed at their property we have made suggestions of changes or additions that could be made to improve the property. We have found Russ and Carma to be responsive to our suggestions in ways that improves our experience as well as the safety of our stay. this long-term commitment to the property and to our relationship is important to us. We spend lots of time out doors on the decks talking about old times and catching up on our families. We also use the property our base to play golf, boat on the lake and generally enjoy the out doors. We are also big sports fans and love to get into college baseball or football depending on the season. Thanks to Carma and Russ for helping to make this a special time for us.

Thanksgiving Family Retreat

Amazing family get together at an amazing place. Everything was perfect. The views, the fireplace, the private master suite, the kitchen and deck. So cozy yet spacious. Cozy home with a beautiful view

It’s just the right amount of ‘middle of nowhere.’ We had a wonderful experience from booking to check out. Russ and Carma Parker were wonderful through and through, they answered any questions we had with patience and enthusiasm so I cannot recommend enough! The pictures are good but they do not do the property justice, views were amazing and the layout is great for just about any event!

This rental was just as advertised. Very nice outdoor space - large patio area to spread around on. Multiple seating areas. Fire pit and horseshoes was a nice added touch for the group to enjoy. View of the lake was good as well. It’s truly a getaway to the lake and some quiet relaxation.
