We suggest the Doubtless Bay Villas and the Sanctuary in the Cove. They are some wonderful options, especially if you're happy with staying outside of the main area. You could also try the By the Bay Beachfront Apartments or The Old Oak Boutique Hotel.

For some alternatives, checkout the ASURE Wayfarer Motel and the Mangonui Waterfront Apartments Motel. They are located 15 kilometres and 20 kilometres respectively from the center.
