This hotel is only 5 to 10 mins walk from Karlsplatz underground station so ideally dituated. There was some road works going on in the area which created a bit of noise and mess but Hotel Erzherzog Ranier was an oasis of calm. Breakfast was lovely the staff were friendly, my room was clean and had good facilities. The hotel has a quiet grandeur and i woud recommend it to anyone. There are steps in the hotel that cant be avoided so my not be suitable to those with mobility issues

Excellent location close to metro station with plenty of options for coffee, dinner, or drinks within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and quiet. Shower pressure and water temperature were excellent.

There was a lot of construction going on so if you called for an Uber they would have a hard time getting around to the hotel. That was the only thing. Since the hotel was so close to the underground it didn’t matter. It was so easy to get around.

Nice quiet area with great restaurant inside
Nice helpful staff. Restaurant in hotel was very good. Nice room but had 2 twin beds we pushed together. Very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. If you leave early before breakfast they will pack you a Takeaway bag since you’ll be missing breakfast. Lots of public transportation street construction was going on which made a bit difficult for Bolt drivers to get to.

The staff at this hotel is excellent and very helpful (especially Francesca). The breakfast buffet had a great selection. We had an early flight home and to hotel provided us with a great take away breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna.

The hotel was lovely! It had the charm of a boutique hotel: the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very knowledgeable and kind! I stayed for a week and loved every minute of it.

My husband and I had a four night stay here and everything was perfect. The staff is outstanding. They're friendly, very helpful, and always concerned for their guests' comfort and safety. The breakfast was of a good variety and delicious. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was just right. There is a good variety of stores and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel, and even though there is road construction in the area it was still easily navigable on foot. Public transportation is easy to access, and if one has a car, the garage is not on site, but a very short walk. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again.

The most comfortable and friendly hotel I've stayed in for a long time. Excellent restaurant. Within easy reach of metro with one stop to the centre. Very quiet rooms eventhough they were working on the tram lines outside. Thoroughly enjoyable stay and would highly recommend it.
