The perfect boutique hotel in Vienna!
Max Brown Hotel was the perfect boutique hotel for my partner and I, and we couldn’t ask for anything more! As soon as you step into the hotel, you are welcomed by lovely staff and beautiful interiors. The Large room was great. We had a big closet for our luggage, so we had space to move around. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved that the hotel was walking distance to delicious brunch spots, and we found it was easy to get to the main centre. We barely had to take the public transport because we felt safe walking around. I would highly recommend this hotel! Don’t forget to take a photo in their photobooth in the lobby.

This hotel looks great at the lobby level and the front desk staff is wonderful. The first room we were put in had a bedside light ripped right off the frame and a broken record player. We asked to switch rooms and we're accommodated easily. The room we stayed in was definitely better but was visibly a little dirty with tufts of dust on the floors. Parking was a little iffy as well and at one point we were triple parked and would have never been able to get out of we wanted. They also make guests walk through a side corridor as to not disrupt the restaurant guests. Overall I'd stay somewhere else next time.

I like the location of the property. Some reception staff are really fantastic and helpful. The room that we got was very dark and one of the lights is not working. The aircon was very mild even though I put it on full blast. The floor was also a bit dusty.

Room is cozy, with a big bath room. Only minor problem we had was a lack of fridge but nothing that really effect your stay. There a bus stop a 2 min walk from the hotel that tack you straight into the centre allowing for great links around the city

Lovely hotel and great breakfast, in a nice area in Vienna, easily walk into city attractions. Some mould on bathroom wall needed attention/cleaning and record player in our room was broken which was a pity.

The hotel is hip and all staff clearly enjoy their work. The Neubau area is quiet and in-touristy but with good restaurants but nothing to beat the Hotel restaurant itself, Seven North, I recall.

Hotel location is in a nice area of Vienna. Quiet but with some lovely coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant in the hotel itself had an interesting dinner menu and the food is very tasty - it’s a popular restaurant so would recommend booking ahead of time. Hotel room was of a decent size and relatively clean. Hotel reception staff were friendly. My one complaint is that the bath in my room did not drain properly and there was no bath mat so it was very slippery after the first use - would recommend requesting room with a walk-in shower if you are elderly or if your mobility is not very good.

Loved this hotel. Spacious room, comfy bed, nice linen and quirky decor. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great location: 10 min walk to Museum Quarter, and easy access to great public transport system. We booked dinner at the Restaurant and the food was gorgeous. It’s understandably popular so make sure you book. Highly recommend

Too cool for its own good.
An ok hotel. Could do with being more welcoming. Very much a functional check in, with no offer of any tips or sights to see if you are a first time visitor to Vienna. No information at all about the restaurant or the cinema or other facilities. I was in the annexe with felt a bit soulless. There’s a kettle in the room, but no coffee - would rather a coffee machine than a soft basketball on my bed. Nice toiletries and my room was spacious and clean. Check out was very much the same as check in - totally not interested in if I had enjoyed my stay. Nobody greets you when you come into the hotel after a day out. They just seem to be uninterested in the guests! It’s a 30 minute walk to the inner ring of Vienna, so if you are a solo traveller, and female (like me), I would avoid this hotel. Nice interiors, but I would just like the staff to be less cool, and more warm.

This hotel and it's location are great. My gripe about the cleanliness of the room I hope is noted as it's the only let down. The staff here were fabulous and kind. The location was just far enough away from maddening crowds but easy enough to get to if you wanted to.
