Wind Dancer - Beautiful Ocean View Condo

Wind Dancer is a romantic two bedroom, two bath condo with wonderful ocean views of the main island of Puerto Rico, Culebra, St. Thomas, and St. John. Situated on the end of a cul-de-sac at the top of the hill in a very quiet area.

The bedrooms have king-size beds and are air conditioned, each with their own bath. One has a garden shower, and the other has a shower and tub. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen or barbecue your favorite steak or fish on the Weber gas grill. The living space is open and spacious with a comfortable dining area and seating area. There is Fire Stix TV with a wide range of program and movie channels, including a, iPod player. The decor is mostly original folk art pieces from Puerto Rico. Enjoy a Piña Colada and dinner on the terrace while relaxing with the soothing Caribbean breeze.

At night gaze at the stars while relaxing from a long day at the beach, enjoy the gentle breezes and sound of the sea. There is also a sundeck to catch some rays and listen to the ocean, without having to go anywhere.

The amazing island of Vieques is located eight miles east of the main island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. The island packs a lot of beauty into a little space. Only twenty miles from east to west and five miles from north to south, Vieques offers spectacular beaches at every turn, each one providing a unique experience. Nice Winter Break
We enjoyed our stay at Wind Dancer. I don't think I've ever seen a house so well-supplied with food stuffs and bathroom items. That was lovely. I wish the master bedroom had a window. I missed a fresh breeze and it was very dark. Lovely having two bathrooms for two people and I loved the outdoor shower off the master. Thank you for opening your place to us.

Perfect home base
Decided to try a VRBO this visit and we are so happy we found wind dancer. Paul and Jane were exceptional hosts, there only if you needed something. Walked us through after picking us up at the ferry and showed us AC controls etc. We settled right in. Even let us borrow their car to go to dinner after a long day traveling. Got our rental from Maritza in her new location that is super convenient and the people are ALWAYS great. Explored several different t beaches and tried new restaurants and generally had a fantastic time. The weather was 84 and sunny the entire time. Except at night. :) Love Vieques and having Paul and Jane as our personal concierges for any questions or suggestions just put this week over the top for us. Will surely come back.

Location is close to town but not walkable in my opinion, the hills are very steep but if you’re driving it’s no problem. The layout is great, the kitchen had spices, cooking oil, etc which was great so we didn’t have to buy basics. The outdoor shower is great for when you come back from the beach but beware of the mosquitoes waiting for an easy dinner! We found the front bedroom to be a little less comfortable but overall the accommodations were good. The pics are a little dated, the condo building is now gray.

Our stay was just paradise on Earth! We were a family of French women (my sister, my mom and my aunt) and we came to PR for my mother's birthday! Everything was perfect! Alberto picked us up from the ferry with the rental car and showed us the beautiful unit. He was so kind and helpful! The house was spotless with everything you need to spend the best vacations! Beds were so confortable and the view was just WOW! The house is located on top of a hill so it's better to book the rental with them (it was 50$ a day with us low season). We went to Caracas beach twice. You will find everything you need at the house to go to the beach! Plenty of nice restaurants and small coffees nearby and 2 groceries stores (expensive but very handy). We wish we could have stayed longer! Don't hesitate and book it now!!!

We can’t begin to describe the amazing time we had at Jane’s property in Vieques! She really takes into consideration every detail of your trip and is super helpful before and during your stay. If you are considering this property for your stay in Vieques, BOOK IT NOW! Everything is beautiful, just as described and the location and neighborhood are great. Jane was not on the island during our stay, but she set us up with her neighbors, who were extremely helpful and so nice. Isabel Segunda is quiet but has so much to offer and it is an easy drive to Esperanza, where there is a little more night life. We absolutely loved our stay in Vieques and at Wind Dancer! We would not hesitate to return one day. Vieques is a very special place.

Wonderful property
We spent 3 nights at Wind Dancer, and it was wonderful. This is a full size apartment under the owner’s house with all the amenities they list. Easy to drive all around the island, very close to ferry and town. You’ll understand the name once you enjoy the ocean view patio. Jane was very responsive and kind. We had a great week in this beautiful apartment. The kitchen was so well equipped, we choose to cook at home several nights. It was quiet and peaceful, with a twenty four hour a day view of the ocean. We also had a private place to park our car rental, right outside of our apartment. A little slice of heaven.

Island Paradise
We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. The outdoor shower was amazing, as was sitting on the patio and hearing the waves and watching the palm trees dance in the breeze. The convenience of being able to rent the owner's car and be picked up and dropped off from the ferry was wonderful. Highly recommended staying here. Enjoyed the Bio Bay Tour and the beautiful beaches. We also enjoyed Fish and Chips at Lazy Jack's, pizza/pasta from Mama Mia's, and the great food at Coqui Fire Cafe. The family Market had everything we were looking for food wise. The jacuzzi tub doesnt work at the condo, but that was not needed since we spent our days on the beach and used the outdoor shower. We got a cab from the airport at San Juan for a locked in price and he took us to the ferry and then picked us up from the ferry and took us back to the airport. That was another thing that made our trip easy. Go to Vieques. Stay here. You won't regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO property and I cannot recommend it enough. From the outset, communication was seamless, prompt, and incredibly accommodating. The property itself was as delightful in reality as it was in the pictures – clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Furthermore, the inclusion of the car was an unexpected bonus and it served us excellently throughout our stay. Driving around was a breeze and it added a touch of convenience to our trip. In conclusion, if you're considering a stay here, I wholeheartedly endorse it. This is a peaceful relaxing location. Incredible ocean views and plenty of room, well equipped home. Most everything you need except food you will find there. Property managers are extremely helpful, responsive and friendly. No disturbing noises, traffic or such. End of a dead end street sitting up higher. Air conditioned with ceiling fans to keep it comfortable. This is a neccessary feature in summer. The outdoor shower is a great feature especially when the ocean breeze is blowing in. You can pack lighter with washer and dryer in unit. Our stay at end of July for a week was a bit warm, although the beaches were very unpopulated and water very nice. Would recommend staying in this home and on Visques. People are friendly, nice laid back environment to take a break from the chaos. Expect to pay a bit more for groceries and eating out. Everything you need is available in the kitchen to prepare your own meals. If taking the ferry over, make sure you are there in plenty of time ahead of departure. They start pre-boarding one hour before departure and won't allow you to get on if it's 10min before departure. Strictly enforced. Definitely recommend this place.
