Good for the money
People were friendly. Valet people were helpful and engaging. Told to make reservation for taxi pickup then on the day to do it said it wasnt a big deal. Then when we needed taxi had to wait a few but was quick. So mix messages. We stayed 5 days onl3 asked cleaning room service on one day they made the bed and gave new towels but that was it did not refresh the bathroom did not sweep or vacuum, not that we were real messy but still expected more. Bed was comfortable. Overall clean but old and needs repairs/updates.

I loved the whole New Orleans style of room. My only small complaint was that the water pressure in of the sink was a little light and shower wasn't quite warm enough.

The property is pretty old and run down. The bed was really, really hard and uncomfortable, and the bedding was a little bit nasty. Itā€™s in desperate need of a floor-to-ceiling remodel. Thereā€™s a general funk to the whole place. Our window was broken, so the balcony was inaccessible. The shower in our friendā€™s room didnā€™t work. The staff were all great. I donā€™t have anything bad to say about them. But overall, the building is more like something youā€™d expect from an interstate motel. That said, itā€™s in the French Quarter. So the location is great. Just make sure youā€™ve got a physical therapy appointment booked in the morning from sleeping on that hard, springy bed.

Checked in. Went to the room. There was mold coming out of the a/c vent, we found a pair of woman's underwear behind a chair in the room. The bathroom was tiny, no counter space. It was just disappointing.

If your going to NO just to party then this will be fine. It a block from Bourbon street. I have stayed in worse but the rooms are very rundown and small. The overhead light did not work well and you had to find the sweet spot. There was a huge rat in the courtyard when we checked it and there is a lot of roaches. This seemed to be common to lots of places. It is relatively safe, but the office was empty most nights when we came back. Be aware many of the rooms are in separate buildings with no security other than a gate that did not latch unless you pulled it sometimes. There are many homeless in the area and be aware they will use the street and side walk as a bathroom. We saw at least one pile of human waste one near the hotel. If we go back we will stay in one of the more upscale hotels. It fine if you just need a place to stumble to after your night drinking.

Donā€™t stay here if you want to watch TV. It will aggravate you. Another couple was told they were staying in our room. Their key didnā€™t work and they were trying to get in. It was scary/awkward for both of us. The drains donā€™t work well. They need to hire a plumber.

I didnā€™t feel like this was a three star hotel. Misleading. Rooms smelled like mold, the window shade was broken so light came in at sunrise.

We were in a room across the street from the main hotel, very different than what we had booked. Room felt dirty-areas not dusted. Cockroaches outside of room and possibly one inside. One night when they remade the bed they forgot to put a bottom sheet on, it was just the mattress protector. Pool was pretty gross.
