Very basic hotel.
Stayed here for one night as a family of four in a deluxe family room. Booked through hotels.com and did not find out until check in that there are NO BATHROOMS in the hotel room. Bathrooms are shared for all rooms. Very disappointed that hotels.com did not mention this in their information about the hotel as this is a huge factor in booking a hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel we had to wait 45 minutes for an employee to come to the reservation desk, despite calling several times. The rooms are very basic - very dorm room esque. I would not consider this a hotel, would consider it more of a hostel. Was kept clean. Free basic breakfast. While close to Astrid Lindgren world, is not really walkable.

Nightmare in Remote Småland
A nightmare trip to Astrid Lindgrens Värld because of this dumphole. Don't know if it's them or Hotels.com but we could book it two days before arrival. However they claim they don't work with Hotels.com any longer. Anyway, it was a worn down place with foreign staff that didn't want to understand nor help. Hotels.com relocated us to a village 45 km away in the Småland woods. No taxi, luckily we caught the last train / buss. Next morning getting back to ALV took over 2 hours. If you consider visiting ALV make sure to double check your hotel or whatever you booked. You don't want to be surprised there. It is truly the middle of nowhere. AVOID THIS PLACE if it comes up in your search.

Rekommenderar
Fantastiskt trevlig personal, fint bemötande och så behjälpliga. Själva stället är rent men slitet och det finns inga toaletter eller duschar inne på rummet, men då var rummet stort och rymligt. Vi är nöjda med vistelsen, nära till Astrid Lindgrens värld.

Mer vandrarhem än hotell. Hade missat att rummen saknade toalett/dusch. Stod förmodligen i beskrivningen någonstans, men det hade vi inte sett, och baserat på priset antog vi att det var ett normalt hotell. Ganska få och små toaletter ute i korridorerna, hittade inget skötbord, och den enda handikapptoaletten var låst. Besvärligt när i princip alla gäster är barnfamiljer. Gemensamma duschar (flera duschkabiner i samma rum). Frukosten var okej, men väldigt högljutt i matsalen. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal!

Enkelt men bra ställe; nära till butiker, restauranger etc. Bra service både inför ankomst och under vistelsen. Ligger i kanten av ett industriområde så inget för de som vill ha natur och mysig utsikt men iövrigt perfekt för en bekymmersfri övernattning i en trevlig stad. Bra utflyktsmål i naturen runt omkring t.ex. Katthult eller den tusenåriga eken i Kvill.

Bra rum, men va inte tydligt i beskrivningen att det endast var delad toalett. Ok frukost och kändes rent. Kylskåpet var inte kallt och förstörde vår mat (fick ett "det funkade igår" när jag sa till). Vädligt lyhört och otroligt dålig ventilation. Var en lastkaj utanför där de började jobba vid kl 7.

+Fin frukost i bra frukostmatsal. +Läget. Nära "ALV" och nära till Vimmerby centrum. -Väldigt enkel/spartansk inredning på rummet. -Saknade mörkläggande gardiner, krokar att hänga kläder, -handdukar mm på, spegel, ytterligare ngt mindre bord -hade varit önskvärt.

Detta B&B har allt du behöver!
Detta B&B har allt du behöver för en natts vistelse! Bra storlek på rummet, möjlighet till att tvätta och torktumla. Rent, men inte toppmodernt. Men varför ska det ens behöva vara det? Du har allt du behöver. Gemensamt utrymme för toalett och dusch, vi var dock i princip nästan alltid själva när jag och dottern använde det. Inget spring eller mycket folk som man behövde trängas med alls! Tvättmedel får du i en liten fryspåse om du behöver, dock inget sköljmedel men det gjorde inget alls. Bra frukost! Lite fler parkeringsplatser hade dock varit bra, då det var fullbokat på B&B. Trevlig och fräsch uteservering på framsidan att sitta på! Vi har en familj på 2 vuxna och 1 barn på 3 år. Kommer gärna hit igen!
