The renovated room was cute and comfortable. Bed and pillows were great. Bathroom was spacious. Oceanfront view amazing as expected. Air conditioner worked as it should and wasn’t noisy. Spacious closet. Comfortable sofa bed to sit on. Indoor pool was small and has a capacity of 15 (noted on the wall). Thankfully the 2 days we used it, it wasn’t too busy for the most part so we had a nice play time. Breakfast was very good and open for 4 hours. We had breakfast at different times and it was crowded on both days. But moving traffic so we served and sat right away. Elevators: do wish they add more. Currently only had 2 for 10 levels to get to; could get pretty crowded and extend wait time to get on them. Well kept hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Restaurant right on the hotel had awesome vibes with a live DJ the night we dined there. Food was delicious. Very convenient.

Great spot on the beach within walking distance to lots of yummy restaurants & shopping. Staff was very friendly & helped us out tremendously when the car key accidentally slipped into the elevator shaft. They were right on top of getting the people onsite to help retrieve key. Room was freshly renovated & breakfast was a hit. I would stay here again.

Disappointing stay
The hotel is old with a very loud air conditioning system. The pillows are so flat I could not get comfortable. There is no outside pool. They offer free breakfast but the space is so small it causes congestion. Won’t stay there again. Disappointing for a Hampton Inn.

It's an older building, but our room was recently renovated and good. The walk-in shower was top-notch. The balcony ocean-front view was just what we wanted. The room air conditioner was old and loud, but it worked just fine. The breakfast was good for a buffet and the coffee was excellent. The parking was tight and a little difficult to get to since there are only two elevators to service all rooms. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Over-all I would stay there again.

Fantastic service and everyone was nice and helpful. It was ocean front but was on the 2nd floor so I could see the roof of the restaurant below more than the ocean. Breakfast was great. Clean and comfortable room. Not the best location for kids. But overall was great and would stay again just not on 2nd floor.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was amazing. Only three stars for service because maid service took all our towels and didn’t put new ones in the room. Took 4 requests and 8 hours, so we had bo towels to take showers after the beach! Front desk staff finally had to go get 4 sets and hand them to me to carry up to the room.

I enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn, Virginia Beach. The property is located in a prime location close to dining and shopping areas. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I love the modern style of this hotel. Overall, an excellent stay.

Everything at the Hampton Inn was wonderful, except that they allow pets, and a dog was barking constantly late into the night and we were unable to sleep. Other than this, the location is great, the beach bar is perfect, and the hotel was very comfortable.

It was perfect ! From checking in to checking out everything was great! Essence and the other staff are all nice . The rooms ( I booked the renovated room) was amazing with clean bathrooms, clean room, nice oceanfront view with a balcony.I’ll definitely be returning soon.
