The staff was fairly good with the lack of staff and they did what they could but the rooms and the exterior of the property was absolutely horrible. Our room sink in the bathroom was falling off and not secured down ,the tub didnt drain

Thought I was getting an ocean view and balcony but was on the first floor and could only see the pool. The pictures of the pool area are not accurate because there is now a bar built outside that is open to the beach which made it very loud and crowded. They also played live music until after dark which was ok but very loud considering where our room was.

We had a great stay, staff was very friendly and accommodating. I know it's the beach and hallways could be slippery every now and again that was a concern, I don't think the staff does daily housekeeping or we did not experience it.

When walking in the front desk lady was on her phone and not really responsive. The room was not in the best of conditions bugs were crawling inside and there was stuff on the walls. The railing outside on the balcony was very nasty and leaning over as in damaged. Overall wasn’t the best experience even for the lower price.

I felt extremely uncomfortable with the appearance of this property due to the filthy, stained carpet in the hallway and bedroom and the stained sofa. Rust stains in the bathroom certainly needs attention. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property. I was expecting more for waterfront property.

I should have read the reviews before booking and I was not able to cancel anymore. Left the night before . Got to the hotel before 4pm, asked if room is ready because 1 of my kids was not feeling well from the drive and I was told it will be $75 extra for early check in. Also had to pay extra $20 for parking (not included in fees). The elevator, hallway was dirty, everything felt unsafe. On the day we checked in, manager or owner was with a “inspector”. Window inside room had paint chips, which if you had little toddlers would probably eat it. Balcony looked like it was falling apart. Toilet in bathroom was leaking. Overall, the room felt dirty and I felt dirty being in there. Front desk, there was a new employee who was very helpful but there was another employee there who was very awful and after saying many thank you, she doesn’t respond a thing. A total lemon face, sour. Worst hotel EVER . No wonder rates looked cheap, false advertisement . I will ALWAYS check reviews next time before I book!!! Lesson learned.

worst stay ever. left a day early.
When we arrived, we had a handicap room they would not let us change it because we booked through hotel.com. then the room we were in had the speaker to the pool on the outside of the room so all we heard was the banging of Base all the time. we were there again I tried to change the room again they could not do it because we booked through hotels.com. we wanted just to run away for the weekend and relax but with the noise from the pool or should I say the speakers we did not get to do that I even went and bought ear plugs and I could hear the base through my ear plugs. The room needs a complete remodel there was bird crao everywhere on the patio, areas of the rug we're coming up, part of the ceiling was peeling. It was just a bad overall experience. Unless I get some kind of satisfaction, I won't be using hotels.com again. I wish I would have taken pictures.

Bad hotel!! Customer service was horrible the rooms were awful!!! The pool is open to the public didn’t like that at all!! Breakfast was nasty too!! They are false advertising the rooms really bad they were no shower curtain in the bathroom it was mold in the room!!

The property was practically falling apart and many things seem to have needed lots of attention that was long overdue. The staff (front desk) were terrible. I rated them a 2 instead of 1 only because we did encounter one woman (out of 4 or 5), Alex, who was pleasant and friendly. The rest were nonchalant, non interactive, and rude. Our experience with front desk is the biggest reason I won’t be back. Unfortunately due to weather, we weren’t able to access the pool and bar on site, but that was an aspect that we do believe we would’ve really enjoyed. The location was walkable to a gift shop and lots of fantastic restaurants.

Old but cheap.
The picture of the pool area is from at least 15 years ago. There is now faded paint, a bar area and a few areas around the pool with cabanas and lounge areas which are $25 -$45 an hour to sit by the pool. Only a few chairs are free. The pool was closed the entire time, we stayed 2 nights. The bar person slammed the doors down and shouted we're closed as i approached, so another place got drink money from us the rest of the night. Pretty run down, no patching or painting done in years. All this being said, if you want a beach facing room for $120/nt, it was worth it. After all, we we're gone all day and only slept there.

Worth It!
The check-in process was very easy with no additional fees since we prepaid for the room. The room was clean, the king bed was a deluxe and extraordinarily comfortable! Breakfast was from 6a-9a and getting in the pool was just as wonderful as getting in the bed! The bathroom and patio door need to be renovated but it was a phenomenal stay overall! 9 out of 10, definitely recommend!

Location Location!
The hotel is great for it's location right on the oceanfront. The pool area, including bar with music and frozen treats, were very fun to have! Downside was the property is fairly run down, lots of stains on carpets, the free breakfast contained little to no protein options, and the pool and lobby were wide-open for access to anyone (key entry was not required).
