The Crossing at 202- Downtown Waco/ Steps to Silos

On the second floor of the historic Behrens Warehouse, "The Crossing at 202" is a vintage appointed 1 bedroom/ 1 bath industrial loft in the heart of the Silo District of downtown Waco. It easily sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the bedroom and a queen size Murphy Bed in the Family Room. Leisurely walk to Magnolia Market (2 blocks) or Spice Village (1 block), across the street from the Dr Pepper Museum, upstairs from the popular Fabled Bookshop and Cafe.

Extremely well appointed, “The Crossing at 202” features a full-size replica of a railroad crossing displayed on the wall as well as a railroad track corner ornament. Get a taste of the history of Dr. Pepper with the “Dr Pepper wall”. Enjoy the beautiful Waco weather with a balcony and sliding door.

The family room features a 65- inch smart TV. The loft is equipped with high- speed internet access with free Wi-Fi throughout. Device charging stations are found bedside in the bedroom, luggage racks in the closet and a hair-dryers in
the bathroom. Since this is a downtown location and so close to the Magnolia Silos, appropriately for “The Crossing”, occasionally you will hear the train two blocks away as it passes right by the Silos as well as other noises associated with a downtown area. Less than a mile from Baylor University and two blocks from the McLane Stadium shuttle pick up. Free on-site street parking at the building.

A ramp at the back of the building makes for easy access and there are two elevators inside the building.

Loved everything about it.
My husband and I spent a few nights and it was probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in. For a one bedroom it was very spacious and the location couldn’t have been any better. The main area decor showcased the local area. It was very clean and the little touches (soaps, shampoos and snacks) were nice. It felt like a home away from home.

My wife and I decided to go to Waco to visit Magnolia. We booked this lovely loft on line. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and were so comfortable in the loft. My wife was so impressed with it she wants to make some changes at home. I’m not sure that will happen, but we do highly recommend it for anyone spending time in Waco.

Enjoyed the loft! Cute and well thought out details for our stay. The location was perfect! Would love to stay there again next time! Highly recommend. Steps from Dr Pepper museum and a short walk to magnolia Silos. We enjoyed Hecho en Waco Mexican restaurant, and walked over to Hotel 1928 for dinner and rooftop hanging out. Also a quick walk to the suspension bridge. Nice to have a relaxing den and full kitchen to come back to while being able to wash our clothes. Felt like home.

Unit great… but noise issues both nights
The unit and communication with owners was great… super cute and clean. Needed help with check in and owners were so helpful. Location was great too! BUT… noise from neighbors was AWFUL both nights we stayed. Literally felt like people were partying in our bedroom and could hear conversations from the neighbors.

Perfect Location!
It is the perfect place to see all things Magnolia, to enjoy great restaurants, and to shop locally. Parking was across the street & always had plenty of open spots. We opened the balcony door & enjoyed the sounds of the Baylor band coming from the stadium too!

Great place
Wife and I stayed there for a long weekend. Went to Arlington on Saturday for the Rangers game. Working on seeing all the MLB ballparks. Waco is a fun little town. The loft is in a great area with a lot of places around. Great food places within walking distance. The silos are an easy walk also. Really enjoyed the Pivovar brewery, the olive branch. Let me say the loft was excellent. Nicely decorated, comfortable, spotless. Would definitely stay again.

Pure Perfection!
I have to say this place was PERFECT! The location was amazing—it was above the Fabled Bookstore/coffee shop & cafe. We loved walking right downstairs to grab a cup of coffee. (However, it was an added bonus that the condo had Keurig pods for us to use.) The condo was right across the street from the Dr Pepper museum and a quick walk to the Silos. We also enjoyed the fact that we could walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner places. (We loved a heart-warming cup of coffee from Bitty and Beau’s, a late supper at Cricket’s, quick lunch at the Silo’s, and a delicious supper at Hecho en Waco.) All of these were a few minutes’ walk from our condo. There were three of us on our girls trip, and we never felt unsafe or had any concerns about security. The location was wonderful for women traveling together. Two of us slept in the king bed (very comfy) and I slept on the Murphy bed, also very comfy! The city traffic and noise outside was minimal, but a train could be heard in the early morning in the distance. The decor of the condo was amazing! It was very “Waco-ish” and a great reflection of the Fixer-Upper and Dr Pepper influence in the area! It was also very clean! We had absolutely no complaints about our stay and were thrilled with our entire experience.

This unit was perfect for myself and my daughter on a visit to tour Baylor! The unit was within walking distance to Magnolia and of course Fabled Bookstore right below was an added bonus. Girls Waco Weekend
We loved being so close to EVERYTHING! The Silos, coffee, food, drinks all within walking distance. Only drove the The Magnolia Cafe and Lovers Leap/Zoo area (beautiful). Bridges, murals, Dr. Pepper museum topped it all off. Fun unit with comfy beds, plenty of extra suppies and even some treats!! Thanks for a great place to stay!
