Hotels with Suites in Waikoloa

This is a beautiful property. The Ocean Tower is on the far end of the property, but it's an easy walk from the lobby. You have to park on the other end of the property, but they are happy to send your luggage to your room for you. Some people mention the slow shuttle- the property has a monorail system that goes from one end of it to the other. Yes, it is slow and you do have to wait for it for 10 to 15 minutes sometimes, but you can easily walk if that's too inconvenient for you. The walkway is filled with art and artifact replicas- it is like a little museum while you walk. The pool is fabulous- the lagoon has manta rays and sea turtles in it- you can swim right with them. I would definitely stay here again and in this area of the property because it's cheaper. Parking is $48/day though

A magical Hawaii experience in a fantasy luxury resort. It has aged a bit, but it is still just amazing. The lagoon with its beach. The waterfall. The dolphins. The extensive swimming pool, with its slide and hanging bridge. The expansive property. The audacious design. The connecting train. The ocean front scenery. Sunset dining. Luau, if you want it (we had dinner instead). Beautiful and large rooms with balconies. Some drawbacks? It has aged a bit. The connecting boats next to the train no longer seems to run, sadly. Asking for tips at breakfast? Annoying. C’mon, I already paid plenty of money for everything, leave me alone now, let me enjoy! The 20$ threat for not returning towels — seriously? It is not checked anyways — but what do you think I am, a thief? I feel insulted. Plus, if someone wants to take a towel, how much is this really hurting your bottom line? The property felt a bit empty, but fine: more to enjoy yourself.

The hotel and its amenities are top notch. The rooms were spacious (loved the massive showers), the pools were a big hit with our kids, and we loved walking down to the Hilton Waikoloa Village every morning. Bring able to use their pools/lagoon for free was absolutely wonderful.
