Set in a slightly wild garden of fruit trees and birds, this private 2 bedroom home offers a place to unwind. Great for a family holiday or for two of you to explore. This is the place visitors and friends come back to every year, whether for Womad, the Garden Festival or to see family & friends.
The house sleeps four to five adults comfortably
and when it's chilly outside, the whole house is toasty with the fire lit.
In Summer the beach is well-known for surfing and swimming. Take a walk, kayak along the river, play a round at the two golf courses and try out the local swimming baths - all within a 5 minute drive.
This is also the ideal spot to explore Taranaki: the mountain tracks leading to the Pouakai crossing, the wild tarns and other great walks. And when it snows there's a boutiue slope across the amazing new Manganui Skifield suspension bridge to take the kids for some winter fun.
For nightlife there are plenty of great restaurants & bars or take in the world class Len Lye Centre exhibitions and film festivals. New Plymouth City centre is around 15 minutes away.
