Recent renovations include new flooring, furnishings, a gas fireplace, and a bathroom vanity that provides all the comforts of home. The living room features floor-to-ceiling windows with an incredible view as well as a TV. Whether you're preparing sandwiches for a beach picnic or a formal family dinner, the chef in the group will delight in the fully stocked kitchen.

With a short stroll down a gentle path and a staircase, you'll be transported from the lush greenery surrounding the home (providing both a whimsical natural accent and a practical sense of privacy) to the sandy shores of Big Stump Beach! You will be enchanted by the spectacular shoreline and impressive views offered by nearly six miles of sandy beach - a unique haven from the typically rocky beaches along the coast. Explore tide pools, go crabbing, clamming, whale watching, beachcombing, or fishing. Waldport, a quaint fishing village located less than three miles north, offers even more options.

Cute little place, great location
Great little getaway at the beach. Loved the beach access path right outside the door, the deck with hot tub and of course the ocean view. Bed was comfortable. We did think there needed to be clarification that the ping pong table/game room setup is NOT part of the unit, but a community-use game room across the parking lot. We thought the listing photos made it look like it had its own game room in the rental. Ended up not being a big deal, but we felt misled on that.

Great beachside getaway
Enjoyed our Christmas vacation on the coast. Sunrises and sunsets from the hot tub. Beautiful walks along the beach. Enjoyed the local ice cream shop and a cute little bakery. Would definitely return.

Im super happy with the place and how it was right on the beach. It was very clean and relaxing. We do wish there were curtains in the living room as when the sun sets it’s blinding but very beautiful. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay.

Amazingly beautiful place
Everything visually was stunning. However, they were a few things that I think could improve the stay. The refrigerator was like a cabinet in the freezer was like a refrigerator. In other words, they ran warm. Shower was slippery and could use some grip. Everything else was amazing

This was my second time staying at a unit at this property. The location is perfect, close to Waldport and a short drive to Yachats and Newport. The units are clean and cute with great beach views. Will be staying again in May.

Clean but missing a key amenity
Everything about the state as clean and nice and easy, but the hot tub on the patio was not working—water was cold and no power. Totally understand that power surges happen and there’s only so much to be done on short notice, but as it was a selling point and the reason we picked it, it was very disappointing and we hope to be at least partially compensated. The fact that it was operated through a large company made problem solving almost impossible, as the only people reachable were a help line miles away and not people on the site.

Concrete Bed
The one bed has to be the firmest allowed by law. It was like concrete slab. The pull out bed was no mattress and bar in the middle which is sum what normal for pull out but not with previous guests kids candy still in it when you do open it ,we did find other sheets and were able to remake and use it.. The microwave glass broke first time we ran microwave to pop popcorn. I couldn't call manager as 0 bars with verizon service not sure about others there. The back porch basically un use able unless sunny as dripped all along it from above. The view was great and it is super close to beach couple minute walk. No drapes though soon as sun comes up so is whomever sleeps on pull out. Hope this helps others for the price will never stay there again.

Beautiful view
We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean and has been newly renovated inside. There is a short path and then steep stairs before getting to the beach. I don’t remember there being anything about stairs when I booked our vacation. I have limited mobility but it was still doable with the stairs and we would stay here again. The only suggestions I would make is a hot tub on the back deck would be amazing. It looks like there used to be one there previously. And the WiFi was really terrible. Which was not a huge deal but frustrating when texts messages don’t go through, and we had a hard time watching movies. Overall though, it was a wonderful vacation and we would absolutely come here again!

The view was just gorgeous! Just wished it was warmer when we were there and wish the hot tub was up and running. You might want to remove it if you aren't going to get it working. Thanks for the weekend getaway!

Enjoyable Oceanfront Cottage
The location was excellent. Located on the oceanfront the view of the was beautiful. Walking down a flight of stairs gave you direct access to the beach. I would recommend bringing some headlamps or flashlights to get on the beach at night. The size of the property was good for the two of us and our our two dogs. Small bedroom, Small Kitchen, Living Room and Bathroom. We truly enjoyed our stay. We did travel in the winter, so I was disappointed the fireplace was out of order and there seemed to be issues with the heater and thermostat in the living room. Nothing we couldn’t live without, and wouldn’t stop me from going back.

Just what we were looking for!
This retro cottage has a stunning view, right by Big Stump. 1- story cottage, no stairs were perfect for my elderly father. My dog immediately found the dog dish and toy when we arrived. Super friendly staff make you feel at home. Definitely coming back!

Breathtaking
The property was absolutely amazing! We were so impressed with this cute little cottage and how close it was to the beach! It is centrally located, making it easy to travel to the redwoods and also to see the waterfalls in Washington. The only issue was that the laundry facility was closed, but it is understandable due to COVID. Just make sure you set aside a couple hours out of your vacation to go do laundry in town!

You guys a liars
First, we are told the unit is on road level. It was down below with no signs to guide us. I found it by accident. I called property management and the lady I spoke to was convinced it was on road level. She obviously did not even have an accurate map. Then, you advertise that this is "the" unit if you are a chef. My wife and I are both accomplished cooks, Well, all of the pots and pans were old scratched up Teflon. All garbage. The one good thing was that one of your guys bought and brought a couple of decent things to cook in. Luckily, I brought my knives, because there was only one there and it was garbage. The carpet was disgusting. There is a water leak in the outside corner of the kitchen. For the money we paid, it was a total ripoff!

Our ocean getaway
We loved this rental and really enjoyed having most of the beach to ourselves. The cottage was quaint, rustic, and functional. No extra bells and whistles but it had absolutely everything we were looking for. The hot tub was perfect location but we found ourselves not able to fully enjoy it due to the overuse of chlorine. We were left with rashes and hives. Would be helpful if they reduced the chemicals a bit because it really is magical. We would love to come back!

Fantastic beach front views
Being able to sit in the hot tub and watch the ocean on cool December mornings and evenings was the best part. The location is hard to beat. This place is definitely for the view and beach proximity not the lodging condition itself. We really enjoyed being able to explore Yachats and all of the state parks closeby. Two adults and a dog was just right. The amenities would have been less comfortable for two additional adult guests in the living room. As a clarification, this was part of the Cape Cod condos, next to but no apparent affiliation with Edgewater

Great View; Dump of a Place
Great view. Otherwise, a dump. Torrents of rain come through the poorly made door, flooding the kitchen when it rains, wood burning stove broken, way too much chlorine in hot tub (gave us hives and itching....more chlorine means it doesn't have to be cleaned as often, squishy, cheap mattress hurt my back, also freezing cold, so turn up the heat and be grateful you don't have to pay for it...or do you? If this was my property, I would fire someone.

So serene!
We loooved our stay here! It was the perfect size for us and our baby. Super easy access to the beach for some good fun! Everything we needed was at the cottage. There was no need to buy anything extra. The only thing I would change is having a vacuum in the cottage to help with all the built up sand. Regardless, though, everything was perfect and clean! We’re already talking about our next stay in the area. :)

Beautiful!!
Gorgeous views make anything wrong with it very liveable. That being said we did have two complaints. The bed was about as uncomfortable as sleeping on the floor and creaked loud enough to wake our friend in the living room. Lastly the hottub had no instructions on care, controls, or anything else. Which made us weary to use it as we did not want to damage anything. Overall our two night stay was delightful, management was kind, very responsive, and helpful. We absolutley can’t wait to come back!
