Like most Travellodges, an older property, closest to the freeway exit. Two story, exterior stairs only, but the room looked upgraded, very clean, excellent mattress. Only quibble was but a single wastebasket, but it seems thats becoming typical of budget motels.

Very comfortable bed & bedding ( recently renovated ). Misinformation provided by employee at checkin about the coupons given to us by them for meals and beverages offered offsite. Coupons are not combinable although we were told they were by the hotel. Restaurant told us that they deal with this misinformation constantly - Why doesn’t someone from the restaurant contact the hotel’s management to correct the problem and reeducate employees?

Nice Surprise for a motel in Walk.
Room looked like it was recently remodeled and furnishings were nice. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast coupon for a local restaurant was a nice touch. The interior was definitely nicer than I was expecting.

Travelodge had big upgrades, since the last time I was there. Clean and updated rooms. Coffee when you check in. They give you a coupon for free pancakes, french toast, or biscuits and gravy and a restaurant. They charge you for coffee at the restaurant though. If you want, the same exact coffee is free at the lodge. Everything at the lodge was great, but they charge you for drinks at the restaurant.

Never Judge a Book by its Cover
The stay was amazing. The building has a motel look on the outside and luxury feel on the inside. The beds felt like brand new pillowtops, and the room had a 65" smart TV. As an added bonus, they give you a card for complementary breakfast at one of two restaurants by Wall Drug (we woke up too late from due to a much needed rest) and another card for free drinks at the same two restaurants. Other places do the same thing but advertise as free breakfast. I'm glad the Travelodge didn't because it would be misleading to, and it allowed them to exceed expectations.
