This storybook, 1926 English Cottage, is located in the historic Whitman College neighborhood and is a 4-minute walk through the beautiful Whitman campus grounds to downtown. The main floor features hardwood floors throughout, a gourmet kitchen, a casual and comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, and two bedrooms, one with an adjustable king-size bed and one with an adjustable queen bed. The recently remodeled main floor bathroom features a quartz countertop and travertine tile. TV's in both bedrooms and a 50-inch TV in the living room. The total square feet on the main floor is approximately 1500 sq/ft.
The entire upstairs is a master suite with a king-size bed, a sitting room with a 55-inch flat-screen TV, and a spacious bathroom with a claw-foot tub/shower. The total square feet of the master suite is approximately 500 sq/ft.
The basement features an exercise room equipped with a rowing machine, stair climber, free weights, and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom features a ceramic tile shower with a glass enclosure. The laundry room has everything needed, including laundry supplies. There is a 4th bedroom with egress in the basement with a double bed for additional sleeping options.
The unique backyard was on the 2004 and 2009 pond and garden tour and features a copper bowl fountain, a relaxing waterfall, and a playset for kids. There is seating for eight on the patio and an extended brick patio to enjoy a glass of wine around the gas fire pit.
