Very old, dated and unfriendly. Breakfast very limited. Check out was 1psm so we had time to kill until we were due at the airport so decided to stay in the hotel lounge/bar area, the bar was closed and we were told it would open at 12. 12.30 it was still shut, there was no where to get a drink not even a coffee. Even though it said it was a coffee bar

The room was very cold. They don’t do food until 4 pm. Breakfast is only Continental but you need to pay for it and it’s halfway house for the police so I had four police vans outside the hotel this morning when I left

Comfortable and convenient
I only stayed one night before flying from Manchester airport. Comfortable, spacious room with everything I needed. I had a pizza from the restaurant which was good , and used the hotel shuttle bus for the airport which cost £10 one way. This is the second time I've used this hotel prior to an early flight and would do so again
