Old, Dated, cracks in tiles bathroom. Facilities are not kept up. The hotel was highly rated on its website, yet in person looked like an older super 8. Evening staff were great during late check in. Morning staff, lady was completely dismissive when I asked for a copy of my bill due to using a “ third party” ( Expedia ) to book the room. She had no record of anything I paid. Yet the girl the night before pulled me right up in the system and took my id and credit card info. It was like her pay was docked b/c I got my room via Expedia. Her attitude was poor.

There is a bracket protruding from the bed frame in room 104 that is painful when you walk into in the dark. The desk clerk was very nice as was the breakfast host.

The beds were old and very uncomfortable. The fan in the bathroom was also old and the room became extre humid after showers. The rooms need maintenance. The carpet was dirty, and the room had an overall stinky smell.

I booked this hotel in town for my grandfathers funeral, coming in from VA. I booked the room for the day before as i knew i would get in late like the next morning, so i arrive Saturday 4am and the cannot find my reservation, that alone takes about 15-20 min. I finally get a room on the serving floor, i put the key on and the door wont budge why cause someone else is on the room, back to the desk, another 10 min, another room on the 3rd floor, start to settle in and the clerk comes up to advise us that we cannot stay in that room, as there was a note to not book that room, so back to the desk we go, to now be on the first floor, right next to the ice machine, the only good thing about the room was being close to breakfast. On to the pool, it had rained a couple of days while there., there were flying ants on the pool, i sent my fiancé in the office to ask if the pool could be cleaned out and we were advised that there was no maitenace to clean the pool, so my fiance cleaned out the pool with the pool net, thats not his job, i feel as the comfort of the guest, just like my fiance git out there with that net a hotel employee should have done the same, maintenance or not. I stayed for the price, so you get what you pay for. I will say the location was great near everything!

Two night stay
We stayed on a Thursday and Friday night with three adults and two children. It was a wonderful time and having great weather made staying here all the more enjoyable with the pool and friendly staff. Being with my family we scour the rooms soon after entering being that you never know; my wife was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was in its entirety. The beds that we stayed in was a little hard for our liking but nothing outrageous. I highly recommend staying here as it is a great place for families alike.

I arrived for stated check-in time, 3pm, but I was unable to check in until 5pm. The staff stated they were coming off of a full house from the night before and that housekeeping was working hard to get everything cleaned for us. Staff was polite and friendly.
