Tucked away from the lane in a quiet Warwickshire village is this beautiful, thatched, very quirky Grade II listed cottage. Step through the front door into the living room and be welcomed by beams, an open fire where you can relax and enjoy your peaceful surroundings. The kitchen features a fantastic easy to use Aga and everything you need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or evening meal. Step down into the dining room which features a fabulous roof lantern, you’ll feel like you’re dining in an orangery and with access to the courtyard garden where you can enjoy a barbecue in the sunshine. The first double room is located off the dining room and enjoys a cosy en-suite shower. The quirkiness continues with two staircases, 1 spiral staircase to another double bedroom with open access to an en-suite shower, with a very small door into the largest bedroom, which is also accessed by the second set of stairs.

Moreton Morrell that’s mentioned in the Doomsday book is well situated to explore this lovely part of Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. There are many traditional country pubs within easy driving distance plus a beautiful pub in the village just a moments stroll away. The local town of Wellesbourne has all your amenities and is 3 miles away.
Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a mere 6 miles away from your front door with his birthplace museum, theatre and beautiful riverside walks and a host of shops to visit and even maybe a river cruise! You can also then visit the wonderful Cotswold locations of Broadway 17 miles away known for its association with the Arts and Crafts movement situated within an area of outstanding scenery and conservation, a similar distance away is the market town of Chipping Campden with its terraced high street from the 14th century with a plethora of tasty cafes and restaurants plus Michelin star for the food explorers. National trust properties within moments reach are, Charletcote Park, Compton Verney, Upton House and Hidcote Gardens so a picnic spot is never more than 15 minutes away.
