At checkout I asked if I could get a discount because the smoke alarm was going off in room all night. She asked if I reported it in middle of night to get fixed and I said no because I thought it was wired in so I did not want to change rooms at 1am we were exhausted. Her response was rude, "well you chose not to fix the problem so no discount" and walked away. Absolutely horrible customer service at check out.

We only stayed here for one night and just wanted something affordable and in the City. The room was good, the only complaint is how noisy it was outside since we were on the first floor. We didn’t complain because it was a short stay, but would think twice if we were assigned a first floor again. The staff was excellent- very welcoming and courteous. Breakfast was the usual waffle, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and coffee. We skipped it and tried a different place nearby since there’s so many other options in the area.

I get it - it’s a 2-star hotel but this place is disgusting. I found a roach in my room and could barely sleep due to the outside noise. The shower didn’t drain. Someone was getting arrested in the middle of the night right outside the hotel. Just awful.
