This hotel was in a fabulous location- the Metro is right across the street, making it easy to get to DC. We enjoyed the free happy hour reception with 2 drinks that were strong and some light appetizers. The pool was crowded, but that wasn’t the hotels fault. The breakfast was amazing each morning! The room was spacious, clean and comfy beds! I would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Alexandria, and its location is unbeatable. The hotel is right next to the trolley that takes you all the way down King Street to the waterfront, where you can catch the water taxi to Washington, D.C. The Metro and buses are just across the street, only about a one-minute walk, making it incredibly easy to get around without a car. The surrounding area is also convenient, with plenty of restaurants and pharmacies nearby. As for the hotel itself, it’s good but could use some updates. We had an issue with the sofa bed—it was very old and uncomfortable. However, the staff was excellent; as soon as we informed the front desk, they promptly sent someone to fix the issue. Parking is an extra daily charge, but once you park, you likely won’t need your car again since everything is so accessible. The staff is friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall experience. In summary, while the hotel could use some upgrades, the location and service make it a great choice for anyone visiting Alexandria or Washington, D.C.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to out family. The location is convenient for travel into DC. The breakfast was fantastic and perfect for our family of 5.

The property and our rooms were nice. Clean, good location. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We had trouble with our rooms. We went with a large family and had booked two king rooms for four small families. On the phone, the person who helped us book the rooms told us that our rooms would have two separate bedrooms and each room would have a king sized bed. He said that there would also be a separate living room. Therefore each small family would get one bedroom. When we arrived, we found that each room was a suite with one bedroom and a living area with a pull out couch. We ended up having to rent a third room to accommodate the number of people in our family. The staff at the desk told us that we should have called the actual hotel in person instead of placing an online reservation. I told them that I called the hotel first. I was given the wrong information by the hotel as well as the booking agency.
