My teen kids and I stayed there, for a concert event in the area. We were nothing short of satisfied. The staff were extremely friendly to my children, allowing them to borrow a marker for the concert. The parking was convenient. The hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great. Not a single complaint.

Some Improvement Needed
The front desk clerk during our check-in on Thursday was amazing. Probably the best. However, the manager was not as professional and respectful as the clerk. The manager should be more respectful and courtesy to all guest not just the Caucasian ones. The breakfast needs more of a variety not the same items daily. One last thing the hotel should inform its guest housekeeping is only provide by request.

$23.50 to park my car in suburban DC!!!!
Charging $23.50 to park one night is ridiculous! this is not downtown DC, we were 20 minutes out! what's worse is we had already booked and paid for the room, to show up and find out the huge fee, nothing we could do about it. NOT an honest way to do business. also, beds were too firm and breakfast was just so so.

The positive was the hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The neighbor the hotel was in I did not feel safe. I let the hotel and went to another hotel downtown at a cheaper rate. Even my Uber driver questioned why was I at this hotel.

It was convenient to the national mall and was priced very affordably. No surprises. The rooms were fairly small, but that’s almost to be expected in large cities.

I have stayed here 3x in 3 different rooms. Property and rooms are clean, it’s quiet and safe. All the hotel staff are friendly, and the complimentary breakfast is good. The property is next to a convenience store, and across the street from Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s and Checkers. I even walked 13 mins to Target during one of my stays. Property is also not far from DC Union station. Definitely a gem!

We were 5 persons and the room was excellent and catered to all our needs . Towels were changed everyday and what we loved was the breakfast which had all the selections you could imagine. Only downside is that they rotate sausages eggs and Bacon in different formats everyday....so its kind of the same old if you love this stuff. Cereals were limited to 3 options. 4 types of Milk, 4 types of coffee, 4 types of tea, yogurt, chocolate milk toasts...etc....i can't complain considering what we ate during the morning lasted us till after lunch. I can say if you went elsewhere to eat what people eat there in the morning, given our numbers, you would easily pay 2 bills for it. As for the neighborhood, we are not picky but it was good. We felt safe. There was even security at the hotel door. Parking was ample but didn't like that it was not free. Its around 25 $ per day. Since it was our of Dc, they could have easily not charged us parking. The microwave was very handy and the teamaker came to great use . We had two tvs and you got about a dozen channels which we didn't We didn't spend a lot time in the room as in Washington, we left early and came late to sleep but i can tell you it was really cozy. Within 10 to 20 mins drive you can get to supermarkets etc.. For what we paid, given the competition and given prices in Washington, this place comes recommended . To reach DC center, it takes about 20-25 mins depending on traffic...and watch out for those street cameras.

The staff was very friendly, especially the gentleman who was at the front desk when I checked in on Wednesday, September 11. I am so sorry that I do not remember his name, but he was very accommodating, and provided really helpful information on things to do, and places to visit. One advice I would give is to deep clean the carpeting...it smelled a little stale, like smoke or something. Other than this, the stay was nice.
