We stayed for a week and it was mostly perfect. Very close to a metro and bus stop, the area felt safe and very walkable. The bed was firm but I found it quite comfortable. The bathroom had a perfect size tub for some lounging after long hot sightseeing days. The kitchenette was in excellent condition. Be prepared that its pretty bare: place setting for 4 (not matching) no spices, some pans but we had to buy oven mitts at the local grocery. They included 1 dish soap and a sponge for cleaning but no other supplies (we bought some hand soap and general spray cleaner). The balcony was pretty much a waste, only looks into the central courtyard so no "view" per se, next time I'll go for the second bedroom instead of the balcony. I say the communication was fine but it mainly consisted of them sending emails prior to leaving, during and after the trip. We didnt have any problems so no reason to communicate with them for any issues. If we vacation in DC again, Id stay there without hesitation.

Great but...
The property by itself was ok and well appointed, also ideally located. However the communication was complicated as my emails were answered 48h later or not even answered. I made sure all will be ready for our stay after reading some reviews and specifically asked if linen for sofa bed will be there. It wasn't there and when we went to the office the guy didn't want to give us the linen because he didn't received anything about that request from the corporate!!!! He finally gave it to us after some firm negotiation. It's supposedly not smoking but the unit next door was smoking pot and listening the TV very loud. My son and I barely slept for 2 nights because the smell of the weed was so strong and with my asthma I was suffocating and the TV so loud all night long (the 2 units had a door to communicate).

Overall, the unit itself was great. It was smaller than expected but still functional and VERY clean. Bathroom was huge! Water wasn't very hot. Loved having a washer and dryer. There is no private bedroom. More of a nook. No door so no privacy. The codes for the elevator were maddening. A 7-digit code for the elevator and another 7-digit code for the unit was aggravating. Parking is the biggest negative. Hauling all of our things from the parking garage without a luggage cart was not fun. The lobby attendant was hard to find, but she did find a cart [after going to get my ID to leave with her]. You have to PAY each time you go in and out of the garage. There is a great market about 2 blocks away. They had a great selection of items including cooked food. Prices were reasonable.

Do not expect a hotel. This is a short term rental apartment. The door person is for the apartment complex - not the rental available here. The apartment was clean and well sized for our family. Nice views and good location.

This is was an amazing experience, there are lots of reviews about miscommunication but all you have to do is call the customer service number they leave on your email, tell them what you need and it gets delivered the next day, the reason it takes long is because it’s an apartment building so not as traditional. Regardless it was a beautiful stay, amazing balcony and modern room, for an amazing price, everything was close and there was a restaurant called Ted’s Bulletin that was amazing right under the building, roof top pool was beautiful with nice scenery and as long as you had your access code you were good to go, only thing you have to plan in advanced is parking in a lot. Definitely will be going again!

This is a relatively new building. Facilities are new and clean. I enjoyed my stay immensely and will be returning next year. There were a few things that were not functioning well or missing from the service apartment - toaster not working properly, cracked coffee maker (I didn't use it because I am not a coffee person), dishwasher makes sharp whistling sounds at certain parts of a wash cycle, missing roasting pan (I bought one to use and left it in the apt for future guests). But they are not major issues that would make my stay unbearable. Had to memorize the building code and door code. Perhaps in the future, if the management could give us access to the LATCH APP, so that it makes going in and out of the building and room easy, that would be super good. I did enjoy my stay there and it is walking distance from Union Train Station and also Harris Teeter (supermarket) is just about 1 block away. Super bonus.

It was a nightmare just trying to find the property, nevermind trying to get access to it. Everything had a code, and no one tells you that there is no traditional keypad to enter it into. Then they give you tons of rules and a phone number that never picks up. Just a nightmare!!!

This is more of an Air B&B than hotel. Don't get your hopes up for hotel service! The room was clean and spacious. Appliances were ok. Nice washer and dryer. About 10 minutes to the Metro which was nice. Definitely not close enough to walk to the National Mall, museums. Harris Teeter is close to grab groceries. The beds are horrendous. Easily the worst I've slept on but the location and price of the property made up for it. Water took forever to get hot. Close to the Amtrak so you have to deal with that. Wi-Fi also terrible.

Don’t stay here. Far from attractions, limited shops and food nearby - closest is railway station. Poor communication ahead of arrival meant we couldn’t get into our apartment on arrival, took over an hour from arrival to get in. If the buildings concierge hadn’t been there I’m not convinced I would have ever got into the room - stupidly complicated - downloading apps and codes and phone calls to get in. I would have given up and gone round the corner to the Marriot. Chose this for space and suite and pool access. The pool didn’t open till late morning so never used it - pools need to be available at 7am!

1st time staying here and it was a great experience! Clean apartment , great location, near a lot of amenities. It’s 4/5 stars because the beds were not comfortable. But we were only there a couple of nights so it’s not the worst. I would book again .

I liked: Secured entry Helpful front desk staff Friendly residents Washer/dryer Refrigerator I hated: The urine smell in the bedroom The indescribable smell from the couch The cheap uncomfortable bed The cheap uncomfortable couch When a property describes itself as luxurious it should be exemplified in every detail of the apartment. I hated this stay. I couldn’t get anyone in the phone until Monday after a Friday check in. The answer to a dirty apartment was a question of did I clean it. I was also told they would shampoo the couch in the day I was to check out. I requested a refund I never got a response for. I will never book this location again.

The apartment concept instead hotel room is cool. The facility/building is nice and clean. A bit of confusion where to go and how to access parking, etc. Better description of that process. and where you need to go. Also proving an option to use the latch app to access the general areas and room easier than the temperamental key-in 7 digit code at every entrance. Linens for pull out safe should be provided in the room. Overall enjoyed our stay.
