This property imo needs to have some money put into it, inside and out. Especially for where it’s located. Feels like an eye sore in an otherwise more modern area. A/c didn’t cool off the room, even at night. Scent of the room was not pleasant. Bathroom wallpaper is in bad shape. Not worth the price. We won’t stay here again and will advise others not to.

I had to upgrade our room because I was going to be doing work and wanted a little more space. The hotel wouldn't do it since we booked through Expedia so we had to do it through Expedia. Took several calls to both hotel and Expedia but finally we got it done. When we got there, at first we were given the wrong room. When i called down, no one answered, so I had to go down to the front desk and ask to move to the proper room. When we did get there, we found bugs in the bed and the room smelled. We were then moved a 3rd time. I was informed that there were bedbugs in the hotel about a year ago but not anymore. I didn't think it was bed bugs, but we moved because how do you have bugs on clean sheets? This room was ok, but the bathroom had a rundown ceiling and the vent above our bed had a massive water stain. We also paid for breakfast for our 2 night stay, but was only given vouchers for the first night, and the second day had to try to get vouchers with the hotel. They did provide the breakfast voucher, but anything over $15.00 wasn't covered, and that barely covered a meal, drinks etc. were all extra and so we had to pay. This was a terrible experience, but the hotel was slightly cheaper than others in the area, so I guess we got what we paid for. I wouldn't stay in a Holiday Inn again. The staff was pleasant enough.

Clean, comfortable, but not great
The facility was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly. The gift shop located on site had hours posted that stated it should be open from 7:00 until 11:00. It was never open once during our entire three day stay. With no vending machine working on more than one floor and the ice machines out of order on all but two floors, there was no convenient place to get a snack or beverage to enjoy in the room after coming back to shower and relax during the evening. Finally, the key cards were inconsistent and finicky and took multiple tries to get them to open the door. While we were checking in, another family who had recently checked in came back down to get new key cards because theirs wouldn’t open their assigned room. On our last evening, hot and tired and ready for a shower, our key cards stopped working all together. I had to make my way back down for new key cards while the rest of my family waited. The front desk staff laughed and stated this was a typical problem and earlier in the day there had been a line of people who needed new key cards also.
