I really enjoyed the intimate setting of this boutique hotel. I did not know what to expect as I was in town for business and only planned to come in for only sleeping and attending events elsewhere. However, I really enjoyed the quite setting and the service, with regard to the restaurant. MJ, who ran the morning restaurant service was amazing. Chef Red presented an amazing cuisine selection. I ended up hosting meetings at the hotel because of the service & setting.

This hotel has some things going for it, on the other hand, there are others that you need to consider. This is the first time I had to "negotiate" with the cleaning staff to service our room. The Desk Staff is so friendly and nice. But the cleaning staff could be considered rude. Excellent location and rooms. It is not only a Pet Friendly Hotel, many guest bring their pets with them; consider this if you are not ok with having pets in the halls, rooms and lobby.

It was in the Dupont circle area which is vibrant towards attractions and the restaurants in the area were geared for all ages and tastes. I'd definitely stay there again in the future.

No ice machine but they have ice packed in zip locks on each floor. Wth. Wheelchair accessible rooms but no ramp in lobby. Mind you, they have a few steps for you to walk up to get to the elevator.
