Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location for a city break with all major points of interest nearby. Hotel located right beside Union Street Station so perfect for access in and out of city.

A Terrific Stay
The hotel is so well situated just near Union Station. Check-in was seamless, with Brenda being most attentive, courteous and welcoming. She also made us aware of the local (Circulator) bus route nearby that serviced all the museums and memorials and other attractions in DC. The complimentary 2nd floor coffee lounge was a big hit as was the Coffee Corner Bakery 50m down the street. The cleanliness and the daily room service was fabulous.

Your friend in Capitol Hill.
First of all good hotel and near the Capitol. If you are going on train or going to Congress, it's perfect locale. White House is not far by uber. But the hotel service is excellent. Sometimes I feel like hotels could care less about me, this one took care of me. I said I had to check in late, they listened and accomodated.

Wow!
The folks at the Phoenix Park Hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon amazing. They were kind enough to upgrade our room to something a little more luxurious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Even when we had a problem in the room, they immediately send someone up to fix it. Amazing. Just amazing and we'll definitely be staying here again when we visit DC.

Beautiful Historic Hotel
Love the history and character this hotel has—fits in perfectly with the theme of DC. Plus it’s super convenient to Union Station, where the Amtrak stops. Definitely would stay again.

Nice hotel close to the capital & museums food was mostly good from the restaurant downstairs. Room was nice but the blackout roller blinds left a gap all around so lots of light still comes through. Maybe they should use curtains. Lots of street noise, the bathroom window was open & we couldn’t close it so ambulances and police car noises all night.

Four night stay August 2024.
This hotel is an older building and is quite clean and the rooms have been modernized. My room was large and had a very comfortable king sized bed. Excellent modern bathroom. Power flush toilet! Very robust air conditioning. Room was quiet. If I had one minor gripe, there is not enough counter space to put your stuff. If you arrive by Amtrak like I did, it's perfect. It's across the street from Union Station, where there is also a Metro stop. The excellent Dubliner Irish Pub is on the ground floor. Fun place! Overall a great stay.

Great DC Landmark Hotel For A Stay
This is a GREAT vintage hotel right where you want to be, just barely off the beaten track, but close enough to EASILY walk to the capital (our first stop) and onward to other points of interest like the White House and Lincoln Memorial. It has a very nice pub restaurant downstairs in the lobby, where Obama grabbed a beer. And both the food and drink are excellent. The rooms are small, but comfortable and clean. And it was quiet, too.
