OMG...this is the best of the best hotels EVER!!! I highly recommend Placemakr for your hotel stay. Altho it might be a little ways away from the National Mall, one can always take the transit bus into the attractions, if one chooses not to drive. Communication - all via text messaging - was seamless. We just needed the PIN to get in and out of the property. Rooms were clean Kitchen was clean Bathrooms were clean And the hotel even came with clothes washer and dryer!!! So at the end of the holiday...do your laundry before heading home! LOL... It was a perfect ending to the travel plan for sure

The property is quite new. The room is large for what it costs. It's foreseeable it has a great potential. I did not provide 5 star because two mishaps. 1. I booked a premium double br from Expedia to accommodate 6 people. But I received a smaller double br on arrival which can accommodate no more than 4. Some of us had to stay on the floor. 2. It's short of staff. There is normally one person to take care of the whole property. When I need it, he is either to busy or not available. They offer contact by message, but they do not reply to messages.
