The reason why I chose this property was the fact that they offered the two bedroom apartment so that each person could have their own bathroom. When we checked in, the person at the front desk, bragged about the upstairs rooftop deck and the fireplaces. We decided to check them out that evening, however, only one was working We also noticed the common areas had worn carpet and were dirty, and the fire alarms were Covered with dust. The apartment itself was very basic, and the light in the one bedroom was almost nonexistent. We had to argue with the cooling system as a few times in order to get the temperature to go down. On the second day, received a text message asking if we needed anything for our stay at that time, we requested additional towels, which never came even after several follow up text messages. We did find the apartment to be very quiet, which was nice. We found that it was very walkable to the Metro However, I would choose not to stay here again I am hoping that they will be making improvements

This place was amazing, the apt.was great and staff were so accommodating! There was a blackout in the area on the last night there that caused problems and extra cost of my trip, but was not their fault and they tried their best.

There was nothing I didnt like. I really appreciated the young lady that worked on Saturday day!!! She was verrrry kind, efficient, but her personality was one you cant train for, her personality was impeccable with a smile. My go to spot!
Absolutely loved my stay at Placemakr Ballston! The location is perfect, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the metro. The apartment was stylishly decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze.
