Beautifully preserved 5 bedroom home for gathering family and friends!

Preparing this house for use as a guesthouse was a labor of love. If you appreciate quality oak woodwork and floors, open staircases and large wrap-around porches, you need to experience this property!

With five bedrooms plus a fold-out couch, this property can accommodate up to 12 guests. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is also a pack n play (portable crib) available for the little ones.

You'll find lots of room to enjoy each other's company with three living room-type areas on the main floor, together with a dining room, kitchen, bathroom, pantry (with a washer and dryer) and a bedroom.

Take your pick of which staircase to use to get to the upper level (yes, there are two), where you will find four additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and good sized closet. One of the upper level bathrooms contains two additional sets of washers and dryers that can be used by guests.

The wrap around porch includes some white wicker furniture as well as two sets of tables and chairs if you'd like to dine or visit outside. (We anticipate doing some work on the porch in 2023 so there may be a period of time when some or all of the porch is unavailable).



The house is equipped with higher speed internet and two SMARTV's. You will have access to Prime selections, including anything that is free and you can use your subscriptions for a number of other applications.

Small towns in Iowa can be a great get away. Whether you are here to enjoy a town celebration, wedding, funeral, family reunion, holiday, extended work stay or just a night or weekend away with family or friends, we think this house will give you a great place to call "home base." We do put up a lighted tree and some additional decorations at Christmas time; not extensive but enough to add a touch of holiday flavor.
