Quick and efficient check-in. Bus shuttle from the Amsterdam airport is a real addition to the offerings of the hotel. Room was magnificent making it possible to share dinner with our friends.

Our greeting at check in from a very friendly New Zealand gal made this hotel stand out from the beginning! She was so amazing and courteous and friendly. Welcomed with a huge beautiful smile! We knew we were going to be comfortable here. Excellent location for getting to the airport and the shuttle driver went above and beyond retrieving a forgotten phone!

The room was spacious but not thoroughly cleaned. Toilet and bathtub faucet were noticeably dirty upon arrival. The lobby has been updated but the room I was in looked like it hadn’t been updated since 1991 (except the bathroom floor and counter) with an equally awful color scheme to match. The carpet looked extremely old and worn in both the room and the hallway and seriously needs replacing. Wallpaper peeling off in the corners. Stains on the chairs, just throw them out and replace them! Compared to the promotional pictures on the website, I feel like I got catfished and thought it was my Tinder era again for a moment. In house restaurant was very mediocre. Food wasn’t bad, but it’s a small menu with very expensive items for what you get. I would have gotten dessert because I was still hungry, but I’m not paying €12 for a slice of cake. Aloof, lukewarm waitstaff that don’t seem to care to be there (except for one person that might have been a manager that was nice and asked if I wanted another drink). They know there are no nearby restaurants and take advantage of it. Kind of predatory. €5 to use the shuttle to the airport seems like a pennypinch. Very good front desk service at check in though. Probably won’t be back. For the price I paid there is much better value in the surrounding Amsterdam airport area.

One night stay after long flight. We’re attending Royal Flora near by early next morning. Perfect place to stopover. Meal in the restaurant was delicious and reasonable price. Would stay again if need be.

I received a warm reception upon arrival. The receptionist was very nice. She checked me in and explained all the available amenities within 5 minutes. My check-out was the total opposite. The man at the check-out was rude and barely acknowledged me. It took him 15 minutes to check-out!

This was one of the worst radisson hotels that I have stayed in and I travel a lot. The reception staff did not recognise hotels.com free upgrade to room reward.or parking discount.Room was dirty with peanuts and dirt on the carpet . The furniture had chip marks and the paintings on the wall were falling away. I asked for room to be cleaned and it took several calls and a visit to reception having waited 7 hours. I thought if I ask early morning it will get included as daily house keeping does not seem to happen unless you ask. The fourth floor is so old and dated. I had stayed on the 6th floor which is slightly better. The breakfast is average and very few staff to clean the tables. I asked for gluten free bread on 2 mornings but they said they had none. The one positive is pet friendly until you visit their restaurant. It was embarrassing to be told that dogs were not allowed in the restaurant and to be told to leave your pet in the room. It had been explained at reception that dogs were allowed in the restaurant so with that confusion we left to find a another hotel that was recommended with dog friendly restaurants also. The hotel staff at Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol were fantastic and truly dog friendly. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and has gluten free options. The rooms are much bigger and the breakfast was far more superior than the radisson. The bar is cosy and it feels so spaciosus yet very welcoming. Parking was free with a huge carpark unlike radiss

Wonderful hotel!
This was a wonderful hotel. Our only negative was when we checked in the gentleman was less than friendly. It was almost like we were inconveniencing him. We got the impression it was not his regular job and it was put upon him to do it. The rest of the staff we met was wonderful and so helpful. I feel like we caught him at a bad time. It does not take away from our love of the hotel. Everyone has a bad day! :)

At reception the person checking us in was more interested in talking on the phone than checking us in. He provided no information about the hotel or the shuttle. When we did get information about the shuttle it was confusing. We ended up going to the wrong area and missing our shuttle.
