Impeccably designed, whisper-quiet, and so comfortable you’ll consider moving in. The Puffin, the hotel’s bar, is a masterclass in atmosphere—expertly mixed cocktails, a killer wine list, and that perfect “just one more” vibe. And the location? I really liked the fact my dog could stay with me at the Intrepid, and the staff were lovely. Perfect location across the road from a park and next door to other pet-friendly restaurants and bars.

An impressive, friendly boutique hotel in the city
Everything about the Intrepid is great! Staff were very helpful - I'd booked incorrectly, but they were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. The foyer is decorated in a dark period style. There was a lively bar at the back which had craft beer and decent wines. The bedroom was huge - decorated in dark warehouse style - I loved it. The croissants for breakfast were delicious, and we had some of the lovely snacks and soft drinks. Cuba street starts at the corner of the block and we tried a few restaurants along there - all delicious. Te papa museum is a 10 min walk.
