Good room with great view, excellent food, very helpful staff. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, you have to drive to Annweiler to find one if you wang to enjoy a meal.

Our Germany trip
Gaststätte - Pension Trifelsblick is a great place to stay. It is located at the entry to a typical quaint German village. You have a great view of Trifels castle. The hosts, Edi and Jutta, were very accommodating to our requests and inquiries. We are English speaking, with no German background, and Edi, with his limited English, made the communication barrier less painful. Gaststätte - Pension Trifelsblick is centrally located to a lot of places we planned to visit, which made our sightseeing much more enjoyable. The whole experience there was awesome!

Ruhig gelegene und angenehme Pension
Sehr ruhig gelegene Pension in einem kleinen Dorf im Pfälzer Wald. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur wenige Kilometer entfernt im schönen Annweiler. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Wanderungen. Wir hatten ein gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit tollem Blick zur Burg Trifels. Das Zimmer ist recht modern und gut ausgestattet für eine Pension. Das Frühstück war ok und voll ausreichend. Die Pension hat ein Restaurant, auch mit Pfälzischen Spezialitäten. Hat uns gut geschmeckt. War für uns ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Schöne Lage mit herrlichem Blick auf den Trifels und sehr gute Basis für Wanderungen im Pfälzer Wald. Zudem bietet das Restaurant mit Biergarten lokales, hervorragend zubereitetes Essen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefüllt und können Unterkunft und Lokal nur weiter empfehlen.

Super nett! Super Essen! Gerne wieder! Die Inhaber sind wirklich sehr nett zu ihren Gästen, die Küche ist sehr lecker, die Terasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Mehr braucht man nicht!

Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und vom Frühstück wurden wir sehr satt. Die Lage der Pension war perfekt. Waren binnen 15 Minuten in Landau in der Pfalz bei unserer Freundin, der wir einen Besuch abstatteten.Wir werden gewiss wieder kommen.

Die Unterkunft ist als Ausgangspunkt zum Ansteuern vieler Wanderziele gut gelegen. Im Ort liegt sie am Ortsausgang mit freiem Blick zur Trifelsburg. Die Aussicht wird etwas getrübt durch an die Pension angrenzendes Gelände mit ungepflegtem Bewuchs. Das Gebäude selbst erfüllt seinen Zweck, könnte allerdings mal in Schuss gebracht werden - in unserem Zimmer war nachträglich Dämmung an die Wand angebracht worden, die war (noch?) nicht verkleidet. Die Terrasse vorm Zimmer (mit zweiter Partei nebenan zum Teilen) mit Geländer war stabil aber optisch nicht schön. Das Treppenhaus (etwas muffig) und der Gastraum waren freundlich und schön gestaltet. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und preiswert. Die Speisekarte bot ausreichend Auswahl für jeden. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück war absolut okay - samstags Brötchen vom Bäcker und sonntags (nur) leckeres Brot. Tomaten- und Gurkenscheiben zum Buffet wären eine Bereicherung. Der Kaffee war sehr gut. Fazit: Für uns absolut okay, insbesondere hinsichtlich des günstigen Preises. Sauber und ordentlich. Sehr gutes Essen. Optisch einiges verbesserungswürdig.
