Easy check in. Room was clean, comfy beds. Micro and refrig in room. Pool and hot tub were older, but clean. Mikes Italian restaurant was busy and like any other restaurant was understaffed. But the people working were so nice! Our waitress was Anya- what a sweetheart! We enjoyed a huge 16 " pizza. It was excellant! I would highly recomend this restaurant- just bring your patients. Baraboo is a sweet little community- quiet in fall. Devils Lake is 15 minutes away and a walk on one of their trails is a must!

Don’t stay here
Blood stains on blanket on one bed and on sheets on the other bed. Phone did not work. Kleenex box was empty and when asked never received any. Numerous outlets not working. And biggest of all, there was a ginormous wasp in the room and when our friends when to front desk, front desk gave them a fly swatter and said they could try and kill it or we could move rooms. Shame on them for that. They should have sent someone to take care of it.

This place gave me the Hibbie Jibbies when we arrived. The room smelt like old cigarettes, the wall looked like it had spit on it and the carpet was yucky. Not to mention our bed sheet had a cigarette burn it in. There’s a banquet hall here so be prepared that you might have a wild crowd Saturday night like we did. There was many puke piles in the parking lot the next morning and we saw someone peeing in the lot right next to our vehicle from the party. The check in staff was nice and the night associate at the desk was also. Our checkout guy didn’t say anything but “k thanks” Overall we won’t be staying here again. I just wanted to get outta here and get home.

The property is easily accessible; room was spacious. However, there were blood stains on the mattress and pillow covers. I stayed 5 nights and my room was never checked to empty trash, refresh towels or refill coffee packets. When I complained to reception about the dirty sheets, she did not seem surprised (recurring problem maybe?), said housekeeping staff had gone home but could put clean sheets in my room. I had to change them myself, No offer of help from her. Free breakfast needs improvement - scrambled eggs the consistancy of potato salad and grey looking, poor coffee, few healthy options. Weight room had become a store room so don't count on it. Will not stay there again.

Pros: Room was spacious. Nice amenities such as mini kitchen with fridge and microwave, two separate area bathroom sinks. All appeared to be pretty clean. Location not the greatest but convenient for Devil's Lake and close businesses to buy necessities or eat. Cons: The staff was not welcoming. The breakfast was not good. Rooms need updating. The whole hotel feels old. The pool is on the 4th floor and the balcony above it looks in poor condition and dangerous with the railing detaching from the building. One day, once the eggs and sausage were done 40 minutes before end time and they did not make more. I asked for an iron and never heard back. Gym room was unable to be used due to storage put in there. Price should be cheaper for the quality of it all.

Great Time
We had a really great stay. Hotel was centrally located to a lot of cool stuff. Used the pool area every day. Restaurant downstairs off the lobby had fantastic food and was a real bonus.
