West Jefferson, NC - Look no further for your next heavenly getaway, it's at "A Heavenly View"! This luxurious chalet style log cabin is situated only five minutes from West Jefferson in a private location that offers panoramic long-range views.
For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.

Inside you will find an open floor plan with a great room that includes vaulted ceilings, leather seating, a stone fireplace, central heat and air, satellite TV, dining area and modern kitchen. The cabin also offers 2 master suites each with king beds and private bathrooms. One located on the main floor with private access to the porch, picnic area and hot tub.

The other master suite is located on the second floor alongside an open loft that serves as another bedroom with a daybed and trundle with vaulted ceilings and windows that can be used to enjoy the heavenly views.

A Heavenly View
It was indeed a heavenly view. The cabin was very well maintained and we would recommend it to any of our family or friends. The views were wonderful and location very close to everything we had planned to do. The only thing I would add to this wonderful cabin is a swing and a couple of rockers to the porch. The outdoor furniture there was ok but the swing and rockers would put it over the top. Millers stayed June 23-29th 2024

Great Vacation Home
We were really impressed with this vacation home, clean, well stocked and the view was spectacular. We contacted the rental company with an issue with the hot tub and they sent out someone within 15 minutes to take care of the problem. Absolutely beautiful home with the views as well. Positives: Good view, nice house, well furnished, close to town Negatives: Hot tub water was murky, downstairs bedroom hears EVERYTHING from upstairs bedroom and it was very disruptive to sleeping, management property company is a little intense with contracts and rules but was reasonable in enforcement...the paperwork is scary if you read it though

We had a great stay at "A Heavenly View." The view was beautiful, especially from the side porch. The cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and the using the firepit. The host was very responsive and always helpful. We would stay here again.

Perfect cabin and not a single thing we would change. It is not as much on a shared driveway as others said but the “main road” runs adjacent to the property. Close to downtown and 40 minutes to Boone.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the views from the house. We took our two small dogs for a hike at Mount Jefferson State Natural Area and on the Greenway in Boone and visited Blowing Rock. The foliage there was beautiful. We also enjoyed a couple of restaurants in West Jefferson during our stay. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant.

Nice place and very near town. The shared driveway for several houses on the drive was a little different than expected. Especially when you have pets or if someone had small children it's not ideal. Folks drive pretty fast being it's a steep drive and the house is right on the road with a very small yard with the backside of the house offering the only real privacy you have. Pictures are accurate but a little misleading as to location and the privacy which is generally why someone is vacationing in the mountains...

Great home base for family hiking
House was perfect for our family of 4 - would get tight with extended family as the walls are thin and there are only two bedrooms. Located in a great spot up the mountain with gorgeous views that was secluded but also only 5 minutes from West Jefferson. Some cobwebs and dust but otherwise very clean. We loved the hot tub after a day of hiking and rock hopping. Kitchen was well stocked and ideal for our needs.

We brought our 3 teen boys and 2 dogs to hike some fun trails because we're from the flatland of Florida. Lol...The house was beautiful! My parents met us there so it was nice we each had a master bedroom. We had a beautiful fire, went in the nice jacuzzi, grilled, and enjoyed the scenery. The town is super cute. We went to many dog friendly places in town. I'm so glad we weren't in a hotel or in a highly populated neighborhood. This was perfect for us. We have a lot of great pictures and memories from this trip. I would definitely go back!

Peaceful getaway with spectacular views
So impressed with this property! Really great location less than 10 minutes from downtown West Jefferson. Felt very private despite seeing a few houses nearby. Beds were among the more comfortable I've had in a rental property. Excellent views that we could take in for hours. Perfectly clean, and furniture didn't feel dated as some have mentioned (felt it was perfect cabin ambience). Only thing to note: If you really NEED wifi, consider somewhere else. It is very slow. We didn't need it, especially with a strong cell signal. Otherwise, I highly recommend this for families. We'll be back!
