The property had many international tourists. It is a short walk from the Yellowstone entrance, restaurants and grocery stores. They had a coin laundry available. The pool was well maintained. Breakfast was good. Did have a minor dispute with Wotif in that I wanted to stay one fewer day and processes to do that seemed not to exist.

We had two separate rooms,and both had electric issues when you turned things on,ac units barley blew air and were load ,toilets keep running,rooms and hotel stunk of mold and running machinery. Internet came on and off. Price was very high for such a run down place

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that was disappointing was that the dining room was closed for the breakfast buffet. We were offered 4 options served in a box to go.

Disappointing and frustrating
When we checked in for our reservation at 8pm, they were not sure if our king bed room had been cleaned but gave us the keys anyway. It was not. That appeared to be the only king still available. So they gave us keys to 2 queens and the promise of a discount. Guess what, not cleaned either. They checked two other rooms that were still dirty. So the manager on duty and facilities cleaned the king while we went to eat dinner. *Two other notes; one, the manager on duty doesn't work weekends even though her name is the one on the wall and she lives there in the first room. Two, the gentleman helping us said that a reservation there only guarantees a room not specifically the room you reserved for.

Great stay in West Yellowstone
Yellowstone Lodge was a gem of a place. Located in West Yellowstone, just outside the West entrance of the park. We were only here for one night. But we appreciated the size of the room (bigger than your typical hotel room) and the cleanliness. The muffins they serve at breakfast are the best muffins I've ever had. If I could get some of those lemon muffins back home I'd love it! The employees that checked us in and out were friendly and hospitable. If I were ever to return to Yellowstone I would absolutely stay here again.

Hallway carpets were dirty or stained, needed updating. No cable TV. Could only stream live TV. As much as we paid for our room, it would have been nice for a full breakfast, instead of grab and go. Otherwise, it was convenient for us going in and out of west yellowstone entrance.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Everything in the room was loud. The bathroom fan, the refrigerator noise and the air conditioning. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling.

I booked a king room, non refundable . Got to the hotel only to find out that I had a queen room. The Clerk had given my room to another guest that walked in. When I ask if there was anything that could be done. The clerk said No. knowing I had no other choice at that time of the evening I took the room.
