Motel getting long in the tooth
Overall the stay was acceptable. A few items should be addressed to warrant the cost of the stay. The bathroom towels have seen better days and should have been retired years ago. they are almost thread bare and the bath towels are little more than hand towels. The electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work requiring the hair dryer to be used at the coffee bar, and the edge of the bathroom door next to the handle was sticky. One reading lamp next to the bed did not work and the bed and pillows were hard as a rock. When we return to Woodburn next year we will stay at the La Quinta and not the Best Western as it is overdue for a refresh.

My family of 3 stayed at this location for convenience to the Woodburn Outlets. The Denny's right next door was a nice surprise in case we wanted a quick lunch or dinner. The area is quiet even though its right next to a highway. Property and facilities are clean. Easy check-in and check-out. Would stay here again.

The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was delicious. But you have a real gem, Yolanda checked us in yesterday and checked us out this morning. She was amazing. I don’t think we have ever had such great customer service anywhere we have stayed. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family and of course we will be back the next time we are in town. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Chemical smell in room, otherwise awesome
Room smelled like disinfectant/ chemicals, tried to air out run but was not successful. Had to sleep with window open. We did not tell the staff bc I'm sure there wasn't much they could do. The entire property had that chemical smell.

The location was what I mostly liked. However, the air conditioning unit would not shut off and very noisy. The TV had terrible sound and very limited on available channels. Not an awful place to stay but definitely over priced.

Staff was friendly and room was clean, however, the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working. Also, our room was near the ice machine and everytime someone used it (late and afterhours when most people are sleeping), it made a large noise. The ceiling was also thin as we could hear the people above us running around (again, after 1am when we were trying to sleep) The tv was quite small and there was no dvd player. Families with young kids would appreciate having a larger tv and dvd to keep the kids pre-occupied. The pet fee should be less, around $25 per night as opposed to $40. We had stayed in Seaside the days before and the room was cheaper, had a much larger tv with dvd player and the pet fee was $25 per night.

A hotel guest was drinking a 36 ounce bottle of hard liquor. He walks into the hotel and brags about his drinking and is rude to the receptionist as he walks to his room. Shower had a very slow drain, sheets were stained, and there was a lot of noise outside of our first floor room. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Unwelcoming staff. Stuffy rooms with design from the 80s. No central a/c. No vent in the shower. The sheets did not smell fresh. Not a pleasant stay.
