The weather stripping was missing from door. A big gap led to outside. Temperature hard to control, noisier, and bugs and light came right in the room. The shower was taped together and shower head was so low, I’m only 5’2” and I had to bend down a lot to wash my hair.

Pleasantly surprised about this hotel, it was cheap but really cozy and friendly stuff. room was better than expected. Breakfast options actually pretty decent and you can walk over the road for more options. easy walk around the park and Autzen stadium As well. Also found out it was Dog friendly which is always a plus

This is an older motel, but recently renovated. The room and grounds are well maintained and very clean. The best part of our stay was the wonderful staff. Our receptionist upon arrival, Emiliano, was so friendly and accomadating. He took one look at our tired, world weary faces and immediately moved us from a second floor room to the first floor. We were going to ask but we didn't need to. When checking out this morning and partaking of the delicious choices for breakfast, we were greeted by Alexa and Tamara. Again, so friendly! What is most striking about all 3 of these hospitality professionals is that they embody the essence of the word hospitality. They are genuinely happy to welcome travellers. They take an interest in each individual and my wife and I felt very much at home in their presence. I highly recommend the Maverick Hotel!
