The best VRBO we have rented!
This unknown gem of a lake in Upper Michigan was the perfect retreat for our friends visiting from California, Florida, Illinois, and Georgia. The host was more than accommodating to any need, and the amenities were more than I have experienced at any other rental. Our guests fell in love with the UP thanks to the Grandview Lodge.

Beautiful vacation home to create lasting memories!
This property was absolutely perfect for my family vacation! My husband and I have 5 kids ranging from 26 to 8 years old and we had boyfriends and girlfriends join, along with my parents and my sister and her 2 toddlers. The space was perfect! The view was amazing! There was a fire pit! Fishing ! Pontoon! Jacuzzi! Sauna! And even a tree house! We will book again if going to the upper peninsula! I highly suggest this house for a large group ! Our kids said it was an amazing place to stay!

Perfect!
This lodge is amazing! Two sunporches looking over the lake is where we spent most of our time. The lake is great for swimming and kayaking. We did a kayak tour of the Painted Rocks National Lakeshore...about a 30 minute drive away. So pretty! Mike the property manager was a delight! He even brought over his own ice making machine for our use as the fridge had a hard time keeping up with our ice demand. The onsite pontoon was perfect for our group of nine women. The only draw back is there is not a bathroom in the lower level. AND if you have kids they will love sleeping in the adorable treefort!

Beautiful property!
This was a beautiful property in a great location! It was well maintained and well appointed, with everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Troy and Mike were quick to respond to questions and offered extra info on area activities. The only things on our wishlist are another bathroom to accommodate a large group and more comfortable beds in the basement. Thank you for your attention to detail and incredible customer service. We look forward to returning!

We had a great family time at this property. We usually go snowmobiling but ended up 4-wheeling and hiking due to no snow!! It was such a perfect spot with the sauna and hot tub!! We will definitely go back to this place!

Our New Year's Eve at the log cabin was magical, with a cozy, heartwarming fireplace, and stunning snowy views. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding, and the proximity to the serene lake allowed for refreshing dips and picturesque moments. Mike was wonderfully attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable stay. It's an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat, complete with festive fun for the kids and relaxation for the adults. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a special getaway.

Take me backk
This property was everything I could of asked for and more. The pictures just can’t compare to actually being there. Plenty of space for 11 of us to sleep in our own bed. Quick responses from Troy and Mike whenever I needed something. The view, the weather, and the vibe were absolutely killer. Thank you guys for catering a weekend I’ll never forget. Pro tip: hit the hot tub at sunrise for a cup of coffee.

What a great spot! Lots to do both on the water and off. Hiking, waterfalls, UTV rides, shopping, sightseeing and more in the area. Sauna, hot tub, swimming and boating at the lodge. We had a group of 20 and the place handled us well! Clean, comfortable accommodations and friendly host and caretaker to help with everything we needed. Thanks for the great time in “da U P!”

Our stay was great. The house and amenities served our 14 family members perfectly. One more bathroom would be helpful but not a deal breaker. We would definitely return!

Great place to stay, even with a rough snow situation
Place was great, up and down. Troy and Mike were extremely accommodating, and we were still able to enjoy a long weekend dispite such a down year in terms of snowfall for snowmobiling. I'm sure this place would be a blast in the summer months, and I hope to bring my family along soon in the years to come.
