Quirky but good
No complaints about this venue at all. Once you get used to the slightly quirky nature of some of the fittings, such as a bat hanging from a light and red bed linen with black bed bedstead, it was what you would expect from a guest house. Breakfasts were great. As a bonus, you are provided with a parking permit free of charge (the hotel we stayed in in Scarborough charged £5 per night for this). Overall, this is an excellent place to stay.

Bill the owner is a great host. Located just outside the town centre everything within walking distance. Rooms clean and a great breakfast. Would recommend staying here.

The staff and host are very pleasant and friendly. There is lots to do. Even though it was raining the 2 days we were there it was still enjoyable. There are many shops to browse through. Boat trips, the Cook museum was interesting. It’s a short walk to the many shops and the sea front with lovely views.

From turning up to when we left we were looked after by Bill and his staff to a very high standard, The room was very clean and spacious , The breakfast was of a great standard and you could tell it was all locally sourced. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be visiting again.
