The guest house is in a perfect spot, right near the centre of Whitby, but far enough not to hear any noise. There was free parking, which was handy. The owner, Tasmin was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfas was cooked to order, and was lovely. I would definately return, and would highly recommend a stay there

We received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival and although it was too busy for us to be able to park outside I was able to park in a local car park that wasn’t a great distance away. The stay was lovely, big room, lovely breakfast with super quality food. It’s an old building so quite obviously there will be the scars of that if you looked about but for the price what do you expect? Basically everything you need for comfort is there. We attended for the steam punk weekend which I would highly rate. I have never been to this before but enjoyed the experience and the hotel was ideally placed for that. Thank you Tamsin for an enjoyable stay.

Excellent stay at this property which is located in a very convenient location at Westcliife. Property is well run, very clean and the owner does super breakfasts and helps with any other requests. I highly recommend the Beaches for a stay in Whitby.

Lovely little b&b.. spotlessly clean throughout the building, welcoming, close to the centre, the lady who runs it is absolutely lovely, friendly, helpful, chatty, and the breakfast was beautiful. Can’t recommend enough, we would most definitely stay here again. Thank you Tamsin for a really lovely weekend.

Very friendly and welcoming, lovely and clean. The bedroom was comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities and TV, comfy bed and en suite was very clean too. Slept extremely soundly. Breakfast was fantastic, best quality bacon, lovely sausage, couldn’t fault it! For the price it was very reasonable and only a 10-minute walk from the station. Parking permit/disc was arranged by the owner so having free parking was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

Pet friendly but not in breakfast room.
Got room with view of Whitby Abbey. Lovely stay and it pet friendly. My dog is nervous and good time. People don't mind of her. But it not allow in dining room for breakfast. Have her leave in room. She don't like it. Payment is automatically online as host do not have card machine.
