Breakfast at the Nines.
I think the highlight of our stay at the Nines, was the service we received from a waitress at breakfast each morning. She mentioned being 19 years old. She was pleasant and helpful, and gave good recommendations about Portland. The hotel is near Pioneer square and small shopping center. Also saw a Nordstrom and an Apple Store. Did see a number of unhoused. Many Christmas festivities also nearby. Ubered to Jake’s Grill which was excellent!

Very friendly front desk persons. Great restaurant on site. Excellent central locations. Great for shopping. Did not like that in room lighting needed to be individually turned on and off ( wall sconces, beds side lamp, lamp on desk) only one was on light switch, the one over the table by the window.

My check in experience was less than par. The gal at the desk seemed very overwhelmed and confused. Then I got to my room and found things intended for someone who was not me. Called the front desk and the worker kept asking for "30 seconds" which was really like several minutes. The room is nice but the staff seems confused.
