This property did not look to bad from the outside. However once we got in side the room noticed the bathroom was really dirty, wasnā€™t just old it had a black ring in the toilet as if it hadnā€™t been washed in a long time. There were dirty smudge marks all over the inside of tub. I noticed a few dead bugs behind one of the night stands. We left and came back a couple hours later and when we stepped inside there were bugs on the bed, floor, and it wasnā€™t just one kind there were three different types and they were all over. We also went to the pool area prior to that and it smelled so bad and had big dark chunks in the bottom of pool, it was nasty. I canā€™t believe that Expedia even has this place listed on their website. It kind of ruined our trip it definitely cut it short as there are no other hotels in this town. We spoke to the counter person and he laughed saying yeah the owner needs to pay someone to get rid of the bugs. Thankfully after several communications with manager they sent us the money back for the night we didnā€™t stay. But they should have given full refund for the night we stayed and didnā€™t realize it was full of bugs. I should have went to the BBB to complain

Room was clean and comfortable. Could use more pillows on the king size bed. We skipped the breakfast. It was a pretty minimal breakfast. It was close to Michigans campus and a lot better priced than places closer to campus. We would stay again.
