Kinda yucky, but cheap
After a long day of driving, we arrived at our room to discover the bedspread had cigarette burns all over it. Really?!? You're that cheap? Just throw the damn thing away already! The room overall was good enough. The grounds were filthy and full of trash, including piles of belongings that had been left behind by previous guests/tenants. Motel 6 is supposed to be pet friendly, but I had a hard time finding a safe place for our dog to do her business because they had signs posted everywhere that said "no poop/no pee area." Plus, with all the trash and broken glass everywhere I was nervous she would step on something and cut her paws. About every 20 minutes during the night, an announcement would be made on a loudspeaker in the parking lot about activities being monitored by camera. I'm sure this was meant to be a deterrent to the obvious drug dealing and other shenanigans that may have been happening. No one bothered us though. Luckily, we were only making a short overnight stop before hitting the road again in the morning.

The best upgrade I’ve seen in a Motel6 across Kansas for the price. The lurkers around the building is what makes your stay uncomfortable until you shut your door. Very clean inside.

Itll do for a cheap night in a pinch. Otherwise, its definitely not a place to bring a family to stay. Prostitutes, drug deals. Last night someone was shot in one of the rooms.
